Good morning (afternoon, evening, night - whatsoever) to everybody! Smiley I'm another one of "Eastern Tide"(as Marco said) : yep, I'm commie(well, ex-commie) bastard as well  Grin
Basically speaking I'm a russian fanartist. I started drawing Simpsons only month ago, so there isn't much to show you so far.
First one(and my first Simpsons picture, actually) is some kind of attempt to make Charlie Chaplin out of Homer. I've tried very hard, but failed miserably. But I haven't learned a lesson, (which is "Never try" Smiley) and made another attempt.
Second picture is a crossbreed between Homer and the main character of computer game "Hitman". Smiley This one is definitely better. Enjoy!  Smiley
There'll be more pictures soon.I promise Smiley

Wow! There is NO way you've been drawing simpsons for a MONTH!!! I've done this for two years and you trash me!

Anywho, Great pictures. The second one is one of the best computer colorings I've ever seen. The only problem I can find is he looks a little too fat, but... I cant see ANYTHING else wrong!

Welcome anyways dude!  Smiley

Yeah, Matias is right. You must have had some kinda’ cover or practiced in secret for a few years, because this is not newborn artist material. Were you drawing another style before moving on to Groening? Or using drawing aides and skill sheets? Either way, your work is very impressive. Like, does the term 'learning curve' mean anything to you? Wink

Thanks a lot Smiley I started drawing Simpsons a month ago. Well, I lied. Smiley It was month and a half to be honest. And of course I drew many non-Simpsons pictures before.
And now I want to present a very unusual picture. I've tried to make Simpsons' TV room in 3d in realistic way. Of course, the room wasn't finished due to my laziness : there is no TV and, in fact, it's only a half of the room. It was made in 3d studio max only, so if you want a shot from other angle(which won't be very nice) - just ask me Smiley Hope you'll like it.
By the way, I have some Futurama 3d art - you can take a look here:

Welcome aboard, Ilyich!

I must agree with everyone else so far: those are very impressive pictures for someone who hasn't drawn for very long. "Homer Chaplin" is adorable. The "Hitman" parody looks very good, though there's something slightly off about his face that I can't put my finger on, and the hairs on the top of his head should be a bit longer. Still, great colouring and very funny.

As for the 3D picture, I'm a bit lost for words. We don't get a lot of art like that around here. The lighting, possibly, is a bit odd: things look like they're leaning, at least to my eyes. Still, it's very detailed and wonderfully textured. (Not to mention, a spot-on rendering of the living room. The alphabet blocks are a nice touch.)

Keep drawing. You're very good!

Heya Ilyich. You've already seen my comments about first two pictures on ISFF, so I won't add anything Wink About the last one... wow, this is really impressing. I have no words. The only nitpick I have is the floor/walls - they don't have any textures in the show, just solid floor and simply painted walls. To add textures to them was a nice idea, but maybe it's better to reduce their depth just a bit. Right now it looks like the Simpsons live in a furry house Smiley The couch and the carpet though, are just perfect.

Can I ask you about the wire model version of this scene? Just curious how it will look like.

More new people. Welcome aboard Smiley. And for first time stuff...whoa. I must say I also prefer the 'Homer chaplain' picture to the hitman one. It has an indefinable charm to it.

The 3D stuff is very impressive, particulally the futurama stuff. A couple of bits aren't quite on model (Bender's body seems a little wide to me) but i can't fault the general look of them. The last one of the planet express ship coming into land looks particulally impressive to me.

Damn, where'd all these talented Russians come from all of a sudden?

Hey, welcome!

I like everything here so far (I too am very impressed with the Planet Express Ship pic.  Looks like it could be directly from the show), and I like the fact you've included Homer's ass-groove on the couch. Smiley

The ship in the painting is also very impressive.

The first one which is Charlie Chaplin I give it 3 out of 5, wasn't impress. And the second pic which is the video game art is better, 4.5 out of 5.

The colouring and background are good, but there's a big proportion problem here. Firstly, his legs are too short. And I don't know about Russian made trash bins, but it too looks small. The idea is great though; it's always nice to see guns.
