For the moment it's my thing.
In the world it is called Tolerance, but in hell it is called Despair, the sin that believes in nothing, cares for nothing, seeks to know nothing, interferes with nothing, enjoys nothing, hates nothing, finds purpose in nothing, lives for nothing, and remains alive because there is nothing for which it will die.

I remember when it was my thing, but then it wasn't my thing anymore.  Soon they'll come and take your thing away too.

<Blomman> who was it that got married here?
<Alexander> Oh, that was a drunken night in Vegas I'd rather forget...
<Alexander> I mean... Graham and Chris.
<Blomman> really?
<Alexander> Yes.
<Blomman> not that i'm against that kind of thing, but isn't that like, uh, illegal in some states?
<Alexander> I could explain, but I don't want to. :D

<Graham> She's a vampire!
<Graham> A lesbian vampire!
<gkscotty> pretty soon, it'll be Mara writing stories about Alex falling in love with Lisa.

And then no-one will speak up.

Not to mince words, I love this one. I like how she's a scrawny, non-cute pre-teen with the kind of attitude you'd expect from Bart, and her hair is excellent. Adorable.

Alex seems to be on a bit of a ninja kick at the moment so here's Scruffy doing some ninja training of some sort. nted to a do a more dynamic pose but it was... difficult. I need more practice. :)

Heh, nice! Creative use of cleaning implements.

And it's always good to see more Scruffy.

EDIT: But why is everyone on this show a f***ing ninja?  :D

The glowy-glowy is experimental and may change quite radically depending on how I decide to position some other elements of the picture. Just fyi.

Nice! The Leela section is getting a lot crisper. The glowy business looks okay at the moment but as you said it depends on the rest of the picture.

I may get some of the colouring stuff wrong because my current monitor is very light and doesn't show blues well, but here goes: the highlights on Leela's hair look too white, like streaks rather than lighting, and they're lit from below while the rest of her seems lit from above. The shadows could do with being a bit darker, especially on her face, to make the 3Dness stand out more (again, could be the monitor) and her hair scrunchie is only highlighted, not shadowed (ditto). Also, I think her eye is out of place; going by refs it should be replaced further down and left a bit, and her neck could be thickened a little on the right-hand side of the pic. I can't tell much about Fry yet but at the moment he seems a little thin. The hands are looking great on both figures, and Fry's left arm bending back like that helps the feeling of space.

Critblather aside, continued good luck with the painting and thanks for posting the stages so we can see how big colour pics are done.

David, I am unsure what to make of your email. Do you have pets in the apartment or not?

Dear Helen,
No. I have a goldfish but due to the air conditioner in my apartment being stuck on a constant two degrees celsius, the water in its bowl is iced over and he has not moved for a while so I do not think he is capable of disturbing the neighbours. The ducks in the bathroom are not mine.

Oh, I love it too! I can't vouch for all the anatomy and such, but the pose and face are great, and her equipment looks realistic and detailed to me. Just badass!

From Steven Spielberg's re-release of "Parallel Lives".

Or the 4Kids dub IN AMERICA, depending on your generation.
