Re: Lump

Hi guys, I'm back.  Did 'cha miss me?  It's been quite awhile. I'm not going to say anything about this one until some comments appear.  Just a couple of questions for you.  Who is the figure based on?  What is going on here?  I know it looks like I went off the deep end (a little crazy) on this dr...

Re: THOH 21: Dear God.

I always have this strange feeling about guest stars. If you want a guest star, let him/her play something they are known for. Not just any role that could just as well be played by one of the regular staff. If Radcliffe is going to be in The Simpsons, let him play a wizard. If you want a vampire, ...

Hasn't it been long established that Matt's signature is basically a copyright mark, and he doesn't actually draw all these himself?
Yep, but do you know it it was FOX or Playboy people who made them?

Re: Marge/Playboy

I am not trying to be cynical her, but the reference to the next episode dose show, that this is also a big promotion thing. And it has worked excellently at that. The Simpsons and Playboy has gotten huge media attention. People buy the magazine and probably want to watch the next episode as well. A...

Re: Crone Scribblings

Fry is perfectly drawn. Good colure choice in the shading. It is working very well with the sky. Funny color for the sky, but I guess it is not on earth.  ;)

Re: Uh, trying to be less horrible at drawing.

Not necessarily. Some girls hit puberty at age 13 or earlier, and your personality and interests has nothing to do with how your body develops. Given that in this case, her major interest is working out, it might. There's a reason most female bodybuilders have implants. Granted, I have no idea how ...

Re: Crone Scribblings

I have seen many deferent types of hairstyle for older Maggie / Lisa. And this is one of the better.
The only thing I notice is the number of eyelashes. Maggie :maggie:, one year have tree and Lisa :lisa: / Marge :marge: four. So I would expect four.

Re: Leif’s Grabpicks.

I newer tried two colored eyeballs. May be a bit difficult in Paint.NET.  But I am sure it can be done.  ;)
What work on grabpics? Well if there are any rules for grabpicing, I have a tendency to break them. So if anyone is going to do it…..  ;)

Re: Leif’s Grabpicks.

Ahh, so that's a Milhouse-eye-view. No wonder he likes her. ;D Concrit: There's something off about the eyes that I can't quite figure out -- maybe they and the nose are a bit too high up Lisa's face. Within Lisa's outline the shadows and highlights seem to be some sort of special effect and make t...

Re: Uh, trying to be less horrible at drawing.

I always find it interesting to se Marge with her hair down. Nice way you have “humanized” her figure. The “standard” Marge works well in the show, but it is always interesting to make her a bit more sophisticated.

Re: Leif’s Grabpicks.

Lisa, as Millhouse looks at her, ten years older. The darker colors at the edges are tunnel vision coursed by rapidly rising blod pressure.

Re: Leif’s Grabpicks.

Thanks. That is some of the comments i need. As you can see on my other postings several things is a “first time” for me. I must admit, that I didn’t pay much attention to the shading, but just wanted something that avoided it being too two dimensional. I don’t know if I will draw any other “Margema...
