Re: Creativity Hour works thread

You know I enjoyed this part (also, good title). The Cutie Mark Crusaders making their chart is by far the funniest and cutest bit; feels like every 8-10-year-old child I've known.

Re: The Nidotamer art depository, now less boring!

Reviewing my backlog: Kiddie pom (THAT'S AN M): really lovely pose, and I love the feet and muzzle. Front facing Maggie: this is about as good as a forward-facing Simpson can get, I think. Her expression and outfit are great. Also, on a non-skill-related level, it's fairly unusual to see art of Magg...

Fanart I didn't have to pay out the nose for! I could have your children. :D

This is just so cute, and Fry's face and expression look great. Cyrus looks lovely. Full marks!

Re: Creativity Hour works thread

A nice start, and a very good and natural premise for a story (*of course* Meteorite would want to know what her special talent was). The whole "I'm not special" thing could easily have been milked for cheap angst, but instead you have some really open and intelligent discussion about how weird the ...

Re: Creativity Hour works thread

The coolest scene from "Joker" that we never got to see. What could be hotter than owning at a high-class club with your fancy dance moves?

Re: Creativity Hour works thread

Continuing and concluding my backlog: @Fernie, "Cupcake Therapy": Well-written, and feels emotionally true. Pinkie is in character (which I find hard to do), and gives very good advice. @May, "Baby": Cute and on-model as usual with your stuff. I like the design for the baby. @Stretch, "Super Simpson...

Re: My favourite drummer has passed away

That is not surprising at all! Without the awesome artists who have come before us, who of us would be doing anything?

Electronic hugs from me. It's all I can do...

Re: Chris can't draw part II: ENDGAME

Thank you very much for your comments! I had a good time drawing both. Fun facts about the Four Bikers pic: in my original sketch, War had a stitched-up cut on her cheek. It made her look even more deranged, but also made her face a bit too "busy." Also, a complete coincidence, but after I finished ...

Re: Chris can't draw part II: ENDGAME

Two more. First off, the Four Bikers of the Apocalypse from Good Omens in Groening-style. Left to right, top to bottom: War, Famine, Pollution (who took over when Pestilence retired), and Death. You may have seen it before, since I posted it way back on dA. I may colour this at some point; I'm prett...

Re: Creativity Hour works thread

(I know I addressed this in chat already, but I figured that ponies would think of "self-insert" and "OC" as the same thing because the good OCs aren't a threat, so they aren't perceived as "OCs"; therefore, they can't make the distinction. And that explains why Pinkie doesn't detect Meteorite at a...

Re: Creativity Hour works thread

Starting on my reviewing backlog: @Alex: Sombra story prequel: I liked the part of this I'd already read, and the opening is very well-written, especially the description of Meteorite's expression and behaviour. It even made me a bit concerned, and would have been really creepy if I hadn't already k...

Re: Lump

First of all, thank you so much for drawing this, and going to the trouble of posting your art process as well. I really am a noob at art, and I didn't do myself any favours by picking such a difficult pose, though I'm still happy I did it. Tilting her body does indeed make the picture more dynamic,...
