Re: Creativity Hour works thread
Looks very fine. Thank you for posting this; I'm a bit jealous of anyone who's good at woodworking.

Re: Creativity Hour works thread
Might as well post these here, since I did this over some creativity hours. Already shown in Discord. Another Space Marine finished; presenting Sister Sophia. Incidentally, this is my first one with an un-helmeted head. I think I did fairly well. Bio: Sophia had a fairly idyllic youth for a citizen ...

Re: The Formicide Gang [work in progress]: the bullshit thread
Comments on the rest of "The Eleventh Day": Maybe I'm immature, but the "beat it with your hand" joke made me laugh. The angst of cooking for everyone else at a meet-up... I've been there. :D “I didn’t say that to you, Dani, you’re working too,” Chico said. This is simple, but a ...

Re: Chris can't draw part II: ENDGAME
Relatedly, did a little self-indulgent chart showing my art evolution (???) during 2023. Some ugly cropping/resizing for conformity.

Re: Lump
Very cute and nifty AI design, and your rendition of it looks great and very close. The way her arms are posed looks a little bit unnatural, though, but I guess that could be due to the drinks. :) Lovely shading/highlighting work as usual. Took me a while to notice what you'd done with the stop sign...

Re: Chris can't draw part II: ENDGAME
No new content, sorry. After six years of drawing reasonably regularly, have I made progress?
Both were drawn in one hour, not counting time editing it after scanning.

Heh, very sweet, and good use of AI. They all look good.
Re: Lump
More cool stuff from you! I guess Bing wanted to know what their kids will look like.
And your interpretation is as great as could be expected. I'm a fan of her bulky jacket and the gun, and as usual, you have great shading/highlighting on glossy surfaces.
AI is saving art!

Re: Creativity Hour works thread
Another old creativity piece I've only got around to edit until now: my first fanart of Mantilla from Radiant Is the Blood of the Baboon Heart . Put it in spoiler tags because it reveals something about her that's not immediately apparent in the movie. I know her hairstyle is different; I wanted her...
