Re: OPINIONS - Bart Wars: Episode I

And you'll never believe how long it took me to realise that the racer is Lance Murdock. *shame* Well, I have to admit it's not that obvious. (Though it will be as soon as he finishes the race with every single bone in his body broken several times. ;)) Anyways, here's the next bit. No Pod race yet...

Re: George Lucas Redeems Self?

I thought I'd never see the day! Frankly, I've always been in two minds about the Special Edition. On the one hand, having Jabba in ANH and improving some of the SFX was good. On the other hand, the "new and improved" band scene was annoying, the Sarlacc's beak was cheeky, and Greedo shoot...

Re: OPINIONS - Bart Wars: Episode I

Another nitpick: shouldn't M2-G2 have a *blue* bowtie? D'oh! Thanks, I've fixed it now. Pretty embarrassing... :-[ @Kiyosuki: As Chris already pointed out, the Original Trilogy is long since written. As for "poking a few sticks", while there is the occasional jab, especially in this part ...

Re: New Trek Movie!

God, Not Another Prequel! (Although if they used that old "Academy Years" script it might just work.) But personally, I think the franchise needs a few years' rest before starting again with a new generation set in the late 25th century or something along those lines. (Of course, what the ...

Re: The "So, What The Heck are You Reading?" Thread

I don't have much time to read at the moment, but a highly recommendable book I read a while back was "The Discovery of Heaven" by Harry Mulisch, a very epic and very brilliant tale spanning the greater part of the 20th century, about a very special friendship, a child born with the missio...

Thanks for your comments, everyone. I'm glad you like it so far. :)

Here's a bit more. It's not that much, but it's got Cletus in it. ;)

OPINIONS - Bart Wars: Episode I

Every saga has a beginning... It's prequel time! Exactly four years after the first part of Episode IV was posted (boy, time does fly), the Bart Wars Saga returns to its beginning with an epic tale of Jedi Knights, Sith Lords, pangalactic intrigue, and..uh...trade boycotts. As always, all comments ...
