Looking for 2 old stories
Was wondering if it would be possible to locate two old Simpson fanfics. The first, of which, I'm certain was once on here (haven't been able to find it in the Drama section) is the "Destiny of a Homer" story (came in 2 parts) where Homer is losing his mind and Marge finds herself working ...

Re: Plot Bunny Shelter!
Another broad concept that popped into my head some time ago: Taking existing episodes with interesting stories that failed to live up to their potential and "fixing" them, which can mean anything from sticking to the basic plot and making general improvements, to reducing the story to a ...

Re: Plot Bunny Shelter!
"Marge's Moment of Beauty": Comedy/drama. While out jogging, Marge manages to talk a suicidal man down from a roof. A news channel promises to interview her about her heroic action, but as the interview is run against a major sports event on another channel, it passes virtually unnoticed....

STORY: "Going Home"
I've decided I'm going to try and submit a new story every week now. It will give me incentive to keep writing, and more importantly, finish the stories I begin. Here's another story, something I wrote shortly after 'Aftermath'. Please read it and tell me what you think.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Thinking of submitting this to a literary magazine
Thanks to the both of you. I'll wait until you're done evaluating before I revise and submit it. And in response to one of your critiques... " 'From the new fault lines the plan was to give her face the opportunity to, like broken bones, mend themselves.' Putting of "from the new" etc...

Thinking of submitting this to a literary magazine
I had some members of my family read this, to see what they thought. All I could get out of them was that they found the story depressing. I'd liked to know what someone else thinks, aside from it being depressing, whether or not they consider it worth submitting or well written. Thanks ahead of tim...

Re: Cannot log in at home
I tried to create a new account under my current email and received the message that another user was using that same email. So the email under my account is up to date. Please send the password reset link to that email address.
And thank you.

Cannot log in at home
I already have logged in at work (on Internet Explorer), but that was awhile ago and I can't remember my password to log in at home. I tried using the email password function but it never works. Today I tried to request my password on Safari at work and I got the message that 'The username THIEFOFAL...

Re: Dilemma - what to focus on
You may have evolved a lot between these pieces, so you may have been a better writer with your first or your second novel. I think I could give a better answer if I saw an excerpt or maybe knew what the premise of each was. Don't let one rejection stop you though. Remember Stephen King had two of h...

Re: STORY IDEAS
The idea would be its the same (fake) FBI agent Selma had set up Marge with. She would've been the last person seen with him, and therefore the most likely suspect.

STORY IDEAS
I have two ideas here, they're both unusual genres for The Simpsons, fairly thriller-oriented..but here we go.. The first is a variation on the typical marriage-in-crisis episode we see twice or so a season now on The Simpsons, though combined with a thriller.. The Set-Up Four months ago Homer had a...

Re: Separate Lives, Separate Lies (Part 1)
I had almost totally forgotten this. It must've been almost a year ago now that I wrote this. I wasn't exactly expecting anyone to pick apart the grammar on this thing. I was more hoping that the criticism would be more about the characters, foreshadowing and where the story is headed. Glad to see t...

Re: Separate Lives, Separate Lies (Part 1)
This isn't the final draft, that's why I split up the work into two parts and am having it reviewed on Fanfic Opinions board. I'm going to use this feedback to rewrite it. In regards to the explaination there were many plot points to explain. Since I had to explain them again I can only blame myself...
