Re:Please excuse my uneventful absence.
Since I drew the original entirely from memory, I decided to go and find some actual pictures of Samus and Aliens. I fixed Samus's armor because I seem to have combined the Varia suit, which I intended her to be wearing, with her Fusion suit, which I don't like and consider to be an excuse for Samus...

Re:Please excuse my uneventful absence.
I already fixed the proportion problem. The actual problem with her legs is that her upper legs (hip to knee) are too long. With life-like proportions, the length from shoulder to hip, hip to knee, and knee to ankle should be roughly the same (so said my college art professors). As for her stance, h...

Please excuse my uneventful absence.
Yep, I'm still around. You didn't think I'd just disappear, did you? Well, I did. But I'm back again. Here's a picture to prove it. I've been playing Metroid Prime an awful lot lately, and earlier today I watched the entire Alien series again, so I not surprised that I drew this (I'd have been surpr...

It already snowed a couple inches here in my part of the northeastern U.S. last weekend, but that's nothing unusually unusual. And the temperature hasn't hit any record lows yet, as far as I know.

Re:Ethnic Pride Thread!
Going back only two generations, my lineage includes Irish, Welsh, German, and Mayan. The Irish is strongest, and it can be definately traced to some Tinkers who settled in the area of Kork. This impresses some people for some reason.
But primarily, I'm human. Anything else is entirely irrelevant.

From the local newspaper today:
And no, he wasn't joking. We all know those guys have no sense of humor.A Secret Service agent commented: "The balloons were not inflated because we were informed that air contains nitrogen, which we have reason to believe is a chemical".

Re:I have a confession
[applaudes] Nice one. I know I'd never be able to pull off something like that. I guess I can stop wondering what happened to those two then. I'm not really as surprised about the fact that you were two fictional people as I am about the fact that you pulled it off, since anybody at or above Moderat...
Re:Big news
Thanks everybody.
Because we like the name Nicole Marie. So it was either name her that or refer to her with a short general description and let her choose her own name in an elaborate tribal ceremony when she turns 16.

You can't tell in these pictures, but Nicole definately has her mothers eyes.

Big news
At 10:45 this morning, my wife gave birth to our first child.
Nicole Marie weighs in at exactly 8 1/2 lbs. and has healthier lungs than half the babies in the ward.

Cool track. Unfortunately, most of the impact of the joke is lost on me since I only just saw it now, after it was revealed as an April Fool's Joke (tm).
