It already snowed a couple inches here in my part of the northeastern U.S. last weekend, but that's nothing unusually unusual. And the temperature hasn't hit any record lows yet, as far as I know.

Going back only two generations, my lineage includes Irish, Welsh, German, and Mayan. The Irish is strongest, and it can be definately traced to some Tinkers who settled in the area of Kork. This impresses some people for some reason.

But primarily, I'm human. Anything else is entirely irrelevant.

From the local newspaper today:

Because we like the name Nicole Marie. So it was either name her that or refer to her with a short general description and let her choose her own name in an elaborate tribal ceremony when she turns 16.

At 10:45 this morning, my wife gave birth to our first child.
Nicole Marie weighs in at exactly 8 1/2 lbs. and has healthier lungs than half the babies in the ward.
