Re:Music moment, take two. Sort of.

I have absolutely no idea what this song relates to but it sounds good! It really adds a new depth compared to the MIDI version.....very impressive and the MP3 came out well. Any plans to do something similar with the Wings tracks?

Re:Wings Sketch

Thanks for the comments. I don't feel that you are nit-picking Marco.....I value your input as I am continually impressed by your work. The background is very sketchy, it could have done as well without it but I was just aiming to out the scene in some context rather than have it floating in space. ...

Re:Ever wondered what woudl happen if you span a CD REALLY fast?

Heh! Very Denzil Dexter that one..... There was a good little story going around a few years back about someone whose CD drive accidently opened while at full rpm. They sat shell-shocked as the disc proceeded to bounce off all four walls at high velocity, presumably showering them with CD shrapnel. ...

Wings Sketch

Just a little sketch based on what I thought was a touching scene from the Wings round robin. I forget who wrote it but it's the one where Lisa is playing the "where's Maggie?" game with her sister, wrapping Maggie up in her wings...aaaaaaahhhhhhh....... Well, I thought I'd try and capture it on pap...

Re:New LF Song

Thanks for the feedback, it is useful as when I'm not writing for a band and therefore without the input of others.....things can get a bit self indulgent.... Capadde's point about the pauses is bang on....the song needs at least a minute knocking off it, I've decided. To be honest, I got to the poi...

New LF Song

Yep, I've finally got round to uploading another Lisa Fitzgerald song. There's an explaination of it on the web site, but briefly, it's based on the early part of the book and was originally intended as the opening song for the song cyle. It was one of the first songs I wrote for the project, waaaay...

Phew! It was very hard cutting it down to twenty but here are my choices, in no particular order but pretty essential listening: Led Zeppelin (first album) Led Zeppelin II Led Zeppelin III Led Zeppelin (four symbols/IV) Physical Graffiti (Led Zep again!) Place Without a Postcard (Midnight Oil) Screa...

Heh! I've had a look at the site but I darent download anything until I've moved some stuff between my hard drives as I'm running low on space.....
Are we talking aardman type claymation here? It looks quite good.

Spot the weirdo.......

Also known as....Portrait of the artist as a resident of Springfield. Yep, having drawn virtually nothing since I left sixth form college in the dim and distant past, I thought I'd try my hand at a bit of "art". Sooooo.......I decided to do a "Simpsonised" self portrait.....a sort of a nod to Frank ...

Re:Fernie's fantastic jukebox

Well' I've finally got round to listening to the lot (so far!) and I must say, I'm impressed. You're doing some amazingly complicated work there, with some really inventive chord and melodic progressions. Ride: For me, this was the most striking. It's great, the way the song builds up around that ar...

Re:That which we feared has indeed come true...

It's a shame. I have to say I never got into Futurama as much as The Simpsons but I do like it and it's very well written. I wonder if there is a future for the show outside of Fox? There may be legal implications as to who actually owns the rights to the show but if Fox/Sky are axing it, then I can...

The trouble with Dubya is that he'd be so dumb, nobody would believe it......
Still, he'd make Homer look like a rare genius.

Re:The worst Simpsons episodes ever!!!!!!

It's probably been said before but in the later seasons there has been a propensity for the writers to dig themselves into an ambitious plot and then realise they've got five minutes of the slot left and say to themselves "hey....how the hell do we get ourselves out of this?". What follows is invari...
