Re: Al Jean names favorite episodes from each season...

It's been a while since I watched the show the last time (both the classic episodes and the recent ones), but this would be my list: 1. Moaning Lisa (Runner up: Call Of The Simpsons) 2. Lisa's Substitute (Runner up: Bart vs. Thanksgiving) 3. Separate Vocations (Runner up: Stark Raving Dad) 4. Last E...

Re: "Quarantine"

I wonder why they didn't simply dub the original Spanish movie - virtually all foreign movies are dubbed with German voices here, and if the voice actors do their job, it's as good as the original voices. Heck, the German producers even dubbed German movies into English for the worldwide market, I w...

It becomes a bit repetitive to say "happy birthday", so I'll do it in German this time. ;) Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Geburtstag!

Happy (belated) birthday, Steve! I also bought a CD of Holst's "The Planets Suite" based on it's usage in Venture Bros. I knew of Mars The Bringer of War, but I wasn't expecting to recognise Jupiter. :) Ohh, this is nice. :) I have produced some slide shows with astronomical images for our...

Hey, it's just natural. ;)

Considering the fact that his species exchanges genetic material with their hands, I assume that, since he's clearly amphibious, it's some kind of swim bladder, or maybe even his lungs.

Heh, and I was about to ask if you were running upstairs, screaming and pulling your hair out (that hole in the ceiling must have some use... ;) ).

Re: Season 19 Promo Cards

In "Lisa's First Word", we learned that Lisa was born during the 1984 Summer Olympics - since the episode was aired in late 1992, this obviously makes her eight years old in that episode. Even considering that the first Simpsons episode (not counting the Ullman shorts) was broadcasted abou...

Re: Is Christmas getting boring?

Hmm, I don't think that this holiday season is so much different from the last one, but then again, I don't pay attention to the media anymore. I haven't watched much TV over the last few years, but since about one year, I stopped entirely. I still watch DVDs and the like, so it's not that I would t...

Re: Bluebular boobular joy!

I'm in awe - and out of words, really. The details, the colors, the light, the shadows, everything looks just perfect. You even added the faint glow of the milkyway among the stars! :) If there was any nitpick, I'd say the lighting of the moon can't look like that - the "horns" of the cres...
