Modos Equestres (Equestrian Modes) is now available

Remember those piano pieces I had been working on and showing during creativity hour for the last few months? Well, it's been released now ! This is the full set, properly recorded, complete with minimalist cover art. You folks have been particularly important in the making of this work, so I feel o...

Re: REVIEWS: Like Crying of Laughter (original fiction, 18+ NSFW)

I admit I was especially nervous when I saw this review, because I realise there are countless ways in which a story like this can crumble to pieces. I'm relieved that isn't the case. :) But your assessment is totally fair, and I can't disagree with anything. You really picked up the gist and the in...

Re: Creativity Hour works thread

Yesterday, I finished the final piece from my cycle of MLP-based piano pieces, so here's the music and score for Aeolian | r . "r" stands for Rarity. Because this is the last composition in the cycle (and because this is about Rarity), it has a huge, loud finale, and at the very end, there...

Re: The Nidotamer art depository, now less boring!

I forgot to comment on these last pics! I love the smoothness and the expressions on those two twins + Allison pics, and especially the shading on the armour. Future designs are really neat, and I especially love skeleton Burns and bearded Bob. Really imaginative stuff. Bart+Terry pics are lovely an...

Re: Creativity Hour works thread

You've done a very good job, Chris! It's a tricky pose to pull off, but you did it well, and nice choice of subject too! Only thing I noticed is that he seems to have two left feet, but it doesn't detract from the overall picture. I also initially interpreted his eyes as being closed, which is quite...

Re: Moved into a place of my own!

There's always a nuisance, isn't there? Things can never just work.

But what matters is that you're making solid progress, and sooner than later, wi-fi issues will be fixed and everything will be fine and dandy. Having your own personal space must be kickass, and I hope you enjoy it!

Re: Creativity Hour works thread

Full disclosure: it took me more than two hours to draw that, since I started on the weekend before last, and I did a bit of work in between. Also, drawing this made me learn a little more of my own limitations: the bodies were more or less copied from the original photograph, while their heads and ...

Re: Creativity Hour works thread

I started this on last weekend's circlework and finished it on this one. This is a parody of a famous photograph called "Back Catalogue" , featuring covers of Pink Floyd albums. So I decided to make my own version... bu the ladies here weren't too pleased about the idea. For reference, the...

Re: Creativity Hour works thread

So, concluding something that has been partially done during circlework, here's a live demo of the song Fantasma , played by me on the keyboard (this time with an actual sustain pedal, helping create this blurry sound I originally had in mind). (Yes, that's the actual handwritten score for the song ...

Re: Game Reviews

A happy little pair of reviews for a Monday night. Slime Rancher (2017) I recall someone making positive comments about this game, and the idea enticed me: being a rancher sorta reminded me of Stardew Valley , which I like (quick aside: you know what's the sign of a legitimate philistine? When their...
