Re: 2009 Emmy Nominations
I actually like Seth MacFarlane... as a voice actor, and in all fairness to him I actually enjoy American Dad a little. I don't watch Family Guy anymore (I never really did, to be honest), so I can't speak for its current quality, but from what I've been hearing it's lost quite a bit of its shine s...

2009 Emmy Nominations
I'm posting this under The Club, rather than the Simps/Rama subforum, because the alternate title is " Family Guy was WHAT ?!" From here : "Family Guy," the Fox series that muscled its way back on the air in 2005 after proving popular in reruns and on DVD, received just two nomin...

Re: Futurama at San Diego Comic-Con
Well, I'm not there yet. I'm heading to San Diego next weekend so I can hang out with family and friends in the area before the convention starts. And no problem, Chris. :) I always enjoy reading other people's "reports" from past conventions and meetings so I'm really happy that I can ...

As another non-expert, I'm not even going to attempt to critique this. I'll just say I find this adorable.
I've seen a fair bit of it while searching for Futurama fanart on dA, but 90% of it seems to be a recreation of that scene.Skajme wrote:i don't think i've seen any seymour fan art before either!

Save for some unforeseen disaster on the city trolley or something equally tragic and unexpected, I should be at this panel. I'll definitely post any notes and pictures I get from it.

Re: REVIEW - The Sims 3 (PC)
Great review. I haven't bought the game yet for a multitude of reasons, but one of my biggest concerns is that the actual clothing, hair, and furniture meshes available out of the box are severely limited (likely in an attempt to push people to buy individual items and sets from the online shop). ...

Re: "Stark Raving Dad" to Re-Run this Sunday
To be honest, I was more impressed by them airing the "Do The Bartman" video last week. I've never seen it on television before (too young to remember/not involved with the show when it first came out). But I still think this is a nice gesture.

Re: Double Whammy?
Unfortunately, by the time I was old enough to start appreciating Jackson as a musician and performer I'd been exposed to more of his crazy than his music. So, my overall image of him is pretty tainted and I feel conflicted over his death. That said, I'm choosing to remember him for this stuff . :...

Good lord, the rumors are true! Press Release NEW YORK, June 10, 2009 -- 20th Century Fox Television, the animation powerhouse that brought "Family Guy" back from the dead five years ago, has done it again: Matt Groening and David X. Cohen's brilliantly subversive animated sci-fi comedy &q...

I've been staring at this picture for days now and I still can't think of who he is. He looks familiar, though; there's something very Farnsworth-ish about his head.

Re: Admission of something or other
Ooh, shiny. :)
I notice all of the "recent forum uploads" are images; can Word/.TXT/HTML files appear in this section as well, or is it limited to images?
ETA: I can't seem to open any of the images in the media center, and if they're supposed to have thumbnails they're not appearing.
