Heh, it's somehow quite fitting that the comic book guy would be neptunian as an alien. More hands for important things like pizzas or tacos.
I quite like the perspective on this one, but he could do with a tounge perhaps?

Long answer: Her official sirname was revealed at the science fair in "My fair laddy". Before then it was Powell but I guess the writers didn't go with that one since some people may of somehow thought she was related to Homer's half brother, Herb Powell.

Re: Your deeper, inner thoughts about the characters.
I'm not entirely sure about a full episode but I do have a list of characters I would like to see gaining focus in some way: "Diamond Joe" Quimby (he cheats on his wife, has as much relatives as Cletus, acknowleges his own corruption and is no longer illiterate...and I'm pretty sure that's...

Re: Your deeper, inner thoughts about the characters.
I really, really wish they would either get Patty a girlfriend canonically or have an interesting openly gay character with depth (paging John Water's character...). Or they could of just made John a semi-recurring character and just kept Milhouse, Smithers, Lenny, Carl and Patty as they were but i...

Re: More ideas
I'd like to see how you handle "Damnatio Memoriae" probably because I'm a fan of classic/supernatural horror stories. Not to say your other ideas aren't intriguing.
Speaking of which, have you abandoned the older ideas? It's been nearly a year since they were pitched.

Re: Your deeper, inner thoughts about the characters.
I agree entirely, it's bad enough that Smithers is used as a target for gay jokes let alone both Smithers *and* Milhouse, honestly, how many dumb homosexuality gags do they need? In the earlier days Milhouse was more than just a wuss, he was the guy who wanted to be popular like Bart, yet he didn't ...

Re: Your deeper, inner thoughts about the characters.
Time to take fanboy-ism to the extreme! I know Allison is a genius-girl, but if she is indeed friends with both the popularity-concerned Janey and the twins as well as the serious Lisa, she can indulge both sides--to me it's also telling that the outfit she picks out is more modest and less flashy t...

Re: Your deeper, inner thoughts about the characters.
It's aliiiiive again! I honestly don't see any reason for friendship between Lisa and Sherri & Terri. To start with, from my experience at least, friendship across age differences of even a couple of years is rare at that age (though not impossible). Also, S&T don't seem like the kind of kid...

Re: Your deeper, inner thoughts about the characters.
It's been a while since this thread was posted in. I hope it's okay. [1] One comment I keep hearing about Sherri, Terri and Janey is how they are only "fair-weather friends" and "Lisa the vegetarian" or "Sleeping with the enemy" seem to support this theory. But there ar...

Re: Season 18 Overview Discussion Thread
While I fully agree with the spirit here, don't you think you should watch the episodes before stating that they are "the biggest offenders"? By "the biggest offenders" I meant that the episodes listed were guilty of the previously mentioned crime to a greater extent than the ot...

Re: Season 18 Overview Discussion Thread
I haven't seen that many episodes but from what I saw season 18 could be best described as inconsistant. Even generally awsome episodes like "24 minutes" had it's flaws such as the Marge and Helen scene, I could imagine Lois Griffin hospitalising someone over a fickin' cake but not Marge (...

Re: Simpsons Game Planned By EA Games
Oddly enough, there are people on other forums that actually critisize the graphics, despite how close to the show's style it is. They even said it like the graphics from the Family guy game which was horrendous (but then again, Family guy itself is horrendous, go figure). Of course, I'm not one of...
