I have a feeling he's talking about Australia's channel 10.

The Red Dress To suit this smart, eight-year-old girl, it won't take much for her. No worry of a v-cut shirt or what khaki pants are. Just a red dress will do. With matching red sandals, red is what goes. Tattered at the bottom, yet it alwyas stays fit. No need to look hard, for that small red dres...

That robot poll's a tough one, but I reckon it's a tie betwen C-3PO and Johnny 5 (does anyone remember that movie? "Disassemble! Disassemble!" ).

Re:Child of Darkness (spoiler warning)
Holy shit.
This scared the piss out of me. Sure, the fic was creepy and all, but you'd never expect you're going to involuntarily shiver after actually seeing it. Least of all me, 'cause I'm pretty hardened against this sort of thing (or so I thought).
So I'll say a job well done.

That's a great line art job, but the colouring is quite messy. I'd suggest using coloured pencils in future, or take some time to learn how to use Illustrator (if you don't know it already).

Wow, great pic. Very nicely coloured, it sets the mood quite well.
I also enjoyed seeing the evolution of it from an idea to a final colouring. But that's just one of my quirks.

And did a fucking awesome job in the process, I might add.Kif White wrote: Graham himself aged Lisa for his fan fiction "Child of Darkness" for example.

Re:REVIEW: Child of Darkness
Graham, I'd say you've got a winner here. First, let me say that I am definitely not a fan of vampire stories. In fact, when I first read CoD, the short description was all I had to go by. Needless to say, I was quite surprised when the family died. I think what really set this story apart from othe...

Re:Jessica & Maggie adult
What I think the problem here is there is too much of a societal view on what a drawing should be. You know--Cartoons are kids stuff, and should only be drawn on that level (nothing more than 'PG'). This is what my family thinks about anime. I should get around to showing them Ninja Scroll sometime...

The perspective's a bit strange, but the characters and idea are great! Good job.

Re:Some grabpics done over the last few weeks
I have the demo of 2.5, but since my computer is a P3 500mhz it nearly always dies when playing most songs. Fortunately I can pick up a P4 2.8ghz-based system for around A$1,500, so I'm not SOL yet. And yes, I have used MIDI gear. My dad once borrowed a friend's keyboard when he was converting some ...

Oh yes. But not until I get my hands on Reason 2.5, so that'll take a while too.Mr Snake wrote:Seriously? Cool. *rubs his chin* Do you intend to do music, too?
God I loved CoD.

Re:Some grabpics done over the last few weeks
Well, thanks for the comments everyone, much appreciated.
Unfortunately, I tried sketching a few pics last night and discovered I suck at it, so it might be a while before I come up with something original. Cartooning with the Simpsons would be a great resource if I could find the damn book.

You've seen them before because they're from the show - they're colourings of screenshots, not sketches. But I am working on those, I swear!
I do hope I'm allowed to post grabs here...
