Re: Lump

Very cute and nifty AI design, and your rendition of it looks great and very close. The way her arms are posed looks a little bit unnatural, though, but I guess that could be due to the drinks. :) Lovely shading/highlighting work as usual. Took me a while to notice what you'd done with the stop sign...

Re: Chris can't draw part II: ENDGAME

No new content, sorry. After six years of drawing reasonably regularly, have I made progress?

Both were drawn in one hour, not counting time editing it after scanning.

Heh, very sweet, and good use of AI. They all look good.

Re: Lump

More cool stuff from you! I guess Bing wanted to know what their kids will look like. :D

And your interpretation is as great as could be expected. I'm a fan of her bulky jacket and the gun, and as usual, you have great shading/highlighting on glossy surfaces.

AI is saving art!

Re: Creativity Hour works thread

Another old creativity piece I've only got around to edit until now: my first fanart of Mantilla from Radiant Is the Blood of the Baboon Heart . Put it in spoiler tags because it reveals something about her that's not immediately apparent in the movie. I know her hairstyle is different; I wanted her...

Re: Creativity Hour works thread

Arms dealing intensifies or something. His weird gesture will make more sense when (if) I colour it.

Incidentally, he's from the same novel as the guy in the wheelchair above.

Con-crit always appreciated!

I love all of these. Some of the sunglasses ones are cool (and hey, we don't know how many eyes she has under those).

For the record, we have a dedicated thread for AI generated art here.

Re: Lump

Whoa! Very nice, delicate colouring job, even for you. Her outfit looks great, but I'm particularly impressed with the coat on her horse part. Extremely fine.

104 colours... amazing.

Re: Creativity Hour works thread

Kind of based on content that got dummied out of Knights of the Old Republic II (like about 90% of the game). The original idea was to have the annoying Atton be the one to fight Darth Sion (big scarry Sith guy in constant pain), and if you lose, the implication is that Sion is going to strap Atton ...

This thing is a beast. You could say that again! Love that you're still doing this AI thing, and your version turned out great, with a very delicate colouring, too. I find it interesting to see the different facial expressions the character went through, too. (This is an issue with the AI original,...

Re: Creativity Hour works thread

Finally got around to digging up some creativity stuff I drew while Graham and I were staying at his parents' place waiting for our house to be ready and didn't have access to a scanner. Some are a bit scratchy, but I think it works. Con-crit welcome as always. run and die tired.png Hank Venture as ...

Re: Grasshopper

New year, new drabble. So of course it's anti-Fry/Leela. Based on the bubble-riding scene in Bender's Big Score. Overshot Leela had already taken off with her new beau when I reached the bubble rental. I paid more than I could afford for the last bubble and rushed upstairs to set off after them. For...

Re: Lump

Happy Harpy New Year! Very cool stuff, your art is still getting better and your colouring jobs keep being impressive and very easy on the eye. The crest is a great idea, and she looks suitably pissed off. We can always do with more art of mythological critters. One very slight nitpick is that in t...
