Re: Creativity Hour works thread

Thanks Chris! Had a lot of fun writing it myself; I remember giggling a fair amount myself coming up with the tests, and just Trixie in general. :) I did mean 'wearily' though, but I suppose 'warily' would work just as well. I'm glad you enjoyed the ending. :) Originally, Snowball II wasn't going to...

Re: Creativity Hour works thread

Saturday, April the First, 2006: Wacky Quest to Save World is posted as a joke.

Sunday, November the Eighteenth, 2018: It gains a sequel, Wacky Quest to Save Horse World. And it is no joke.

(well okay it still is, but shhh. You're ruining the dramatics!)

Re: Simpsons deals with Apu controversy by Writing Character Out

Likewise I have also been out of touch with the show as of late, and so I feel I can't really offer any new perspective. However, a couple weeks ago or so, Youtube had been subtly recommending The Apu That I Know , and I thought it was a pretty good take on the whole Problem With Apu incident. I'd r...

Already decided I wasn't going to do any grinding today. But I did get the best rarity!

Re: Creativity Hour works thread

This'll be a more casually updated story, but here's a sequel to my last story. No title or proper opening yet, but here's what I have so far.

Final part of my story! It's astounding; I actually finished writing an entire story.

My next part. I usually try to say something funny here, but... *shrug* I just... like this part.

Re: Creativity Hour works thread

Thank you Chris. I have to agree with you about Meteorite being angry; mainly because now looking over it, I had actually completely omitted the reason why (well, not completely; it's mentioned way in the beginning of the story, when Alexandra brings it up at the end of Act I, but I forgot to highli...

Re: Creativity Hour works thread

Thank you Fernie. I wish I could say I took your criticism gracefully, because you've raised some good points, but like the idiot I am, I worked myself up over it. But I like to think I've calmed down enough now to think rationally. I do see, or rather, felt what you mean by it being plot-driven. I ...

Re: Creativity Hour works thread

I totally agree, and I feel if Meteorite knew she was (unintentionally) pulling that cliché, she'd be aghast with herself, just as I am with myself because I'd probably do the exact same thing. ;)

But yes, fortunately the story goes on, where it can safely careen off a cliff. ;D
