Avatar Pics...

Post by Gulliver63 » Tue Aug 24, 2010 6:28 pm

I'm not always the brightest bulb in the hardware store, but I've had a bit of a problem trying to insert a new avatar photo lately (I think in the army they called this 'vaporlock of the cranial chamber'). :leela

What sort of a problem?

I didn't see that little "browse" prompt...it didn't seem like there was anything to click on to so I could choose a file. I'm assuming that you get there by user control panel/profile/edit avatar...I might be doing this the wrong way or something.

You're currently assigned an "invisible" avatar that you'll have to delete first. Check the "delete image" checkbox and submit the form, then you should get an upload form.

I think it's an artefact of the conversion from SMF.

All right, apparently I made the avaar upload directory a little bit unwritable last time I updated the software. It should work now.

I'm afraid that it keeps coming back to that same screen...I've somehow cursed it....

Nono, it's me, I didn't do what I thought I did. Try it again.

Thanks...I actually did that picture a couple of months ago for one of my stories that took place in TurnangaWorld - Amy got tossed into a parallel universe where Leela was the unquestioned leader, and vice-versa. Thanks for the help. :leela
