ha this seems good. I am really not in the mood for art now after the fustration of trying to find a UK price for photoshop 7 instead of a dodgey site with $!! I'm only 15 what do they want!
Anyway, here's the sketch for September.  Critics welcome.

I've finished colouring it XD
It's turned out pretty good since I did all on paintshop pro
Had to create LOADS of layers XD
critics are welcome
(might look a little blurry but I had to resize it to fit the page when it's allready been rezsized quite a bit, the normal size looks fine but it's too big to put on this page)

:D

I really like that. I'd have never thought of going for those sort of tones in the background. It looks a bit like a water colour (especially the way you've done the highlights on those leaves) that Lisa's somehow wandered into.

Simple but effective. :)

Wow, that was fast, I haven't even started mine.  ;)

You don't need photoshop to create beautiful pics like this one, Painshop-pro can do everything as good as photoshop does it, but the artist is the most important-- software doesn't create things by itself.  Your piece is magnificent, simple but nice, the background seems to be colored in another layer, and the water-colour effect you gave it gives the illusion of the animaton style "using celluloid paper".  I like Lisa's highlights and shades --pretty good job there. This is going to be a great illustration for September--I'm glad you have a bigger version, it is going to be needed.  ;D ;)

Thanks alot Shimmering.  ;D

This is the working sketch of August, and I've been sitting on it for a while, to try to look at it from another viewpoint. ...But it still looks the same to me, so I'm asking for some tips on how to improve it a bit before I pen it in and whip out the ol' colored pencils...

Linked because I drew this horizontally, and I don't want to stretch out the page, not for file size (it's 37.2kb).

Well, all I ask is that you be gentle! ^^;

Maybe it's a little too early to be showing you this. But so far, I've gone up to this point. This is a Halloween scene run amuck. Uh...Yeah.

Two wonderful pictures already.

Shimmering Sunset: Lisa is on-model and sweet (I love her hair folding under the hat), and the colouring is excellent. Like DB said, you've done some great things with contrasting shades here. I can almost smell the dead leaves.

Ekko: It made me laugh out loud, particularly the "Agent Smith" line. Wonderful, and is going to look excellent when coloured. Lisa as Justice! Good stuff. (I particularly like how you drew her blindfold.)

I have no complaints about these. So far, this looks simply great.

just want to say about the list, if anyone wants to take either june or july, so im only doing one month instead of two then that'd be cool with me, i dont mind doing two, but it would be good to have as many artists as we can on this project, just shout if you want to do one of them!
Space. It seems to go on and on forever.
But then you get to the end and a gorilla starts throwing barrels at you.
