Hi folks! I'm graham Dawson. You probably know me from such posts as "I'm writing stories!" and "I'm going to get that feature done real soon now". Tonight I'm going to talk t you about the wonderful joy that is games modding, and one game in particular: Evil Genius. See, this game in particular has a great deal of potential for modding, as it's essentially designed as one big huge modding environment.
My idea is to do replace a large number of the characters with Simpsons characters. This might sound strange, until tyou think about it... which character on The Simpsons would be suitable for being an Evil Genius?
At the moment, I've got a little list of characters and their replacements:
The side of evil:
Hank Scorpio (evil genius)
Has a weapon! (at least if possible with the game engine): flamethrower
Randomly spouts lines from the show.
Kills people by beating them to death with a pair of sandals.
"skimpy bikini lady" (as seen in the final attack scene on the episode, killing the general schwartzkoppf look-alike)
Any other simpson characters who might fit the bill
Worker Minions: Basically the same, but simpsonised
Soldier Minions: he "soldier" types seen ikn the episode guarding various places
Technician minions: the office tyopes, dressed in their natty suits
And so on...
The side of Good:
Agents and Super Agens:
General Schwartzkoppf look-alike
#6 (yes, I know he's not a simpsons character, but patrick McGoohan once voiced a character on the show)
Any of Stacy Lovell's husbands (Joe etc)
The springfield PD as investigators
Mulder and Scully (and why not?) as investigators
Anyone else I can think of...
Modelling shouldn't be too hard. Most of the models are fairly low poly and should be easy to just squidge in to shape. Some will have to be modelled, but that's ok.
Now if only I could find the time. Maybe in a few months...
And why am I posting it here? Because... oh look, the goodyear blimp!

Actually, this sounds pretty fun! Ya think Smitty and URL could be on the forces of good or this simply an OFF related thing?

Trace said he didn't see himself as an icon, but wanted to be a logo. Frank settled for being a font.
Peter Grant: I'm the manager of Led Zeppelin!
Bob Dylan: I don't come to you with my problems.
