The Orangutan.

Post by OARRIAGA2001 » Sat Apr 22, 2006 6:20 am

One of my favorites animals, The orangutan, with her little baby.  Oh no, he is going to fall!   :)
he doesn't know how to grab his mom pretty good yet.*lol*   Its amazing how these animals can climb trees and be at heights just a few weeks after they're born.  Of course most of the time they are holding their mothers.  ;)

Hey, are you living in the forest, working in the zoo or something? ;D
Jokes aside, this is another great sketch. His left arm looks a bit thin, but kid's expression is priceless ;)

@Dagdamor.  Well, if we talk about Vallarta literally.  Yes, I'm living in the forest, a pretty nice one.  :) And I do have a Zoo in my house, 2 cats and 2 dogs.  Thanks for the comments, Sergey!

@Black_raven. I do love realism, my art studies were based on it and nothing else.  But now I want to do cartoons! *cries*  Nah, just kidding.  Thanks for your comments.

So many realistic pictures so little breath left in my lungs... help...

I probably wouldnt have noticed it if you did it wrong, but the streched arm looks so perfect! I'd hate to ask if you used a photo to aid the sketch, but that is so good. Like the coati (which I didnt reply to, I'm sorry) its just so awsome.

I love this work, keep 'em comin man! :)

Sure do! I have a book full of them.  I place it  on the side of my desk and start sketching.

This is the place where I work.  I always keep it clean, 'cause dirt and trash make me sick.

You can't stand trash? I have to admit I'm the same.

I'm an artist, yes. Like a bunch of others here.  We have writers too, pretty good ones, I will say. Check the fanfic section, and you will see what I mean.  You won't regreat to do a little reading too, and you never know, you might even write something yourself.

I'm not much of an artist, but I love to write! I even won a few awards for things like poetry and biographies!
