My Lyrics

Post by Horrorhead » Mon Oct 18, 2004 10:03 pm

Here I start a thread where I'll post some of my lyrics... whenever I want to :)

Now here I start with the most recent lyric I wrote. I really couldn't think of a title for this. Here we go...

No Title-

The undertaker invites you to come to the funeral
Nobody knows who will be buried
Who knows when the daylight will disappear
You know it’s automatic whatever you’re doing
There’s nothing you can get right now
You’re all lost in the foggy forest
And it’s only in the early morning
There’s enough time to escape
But you can’t find the way
So dazed and confused like never before

The bulldozer tore down the wall
Freedom for so many people
You are among them but you don’t care
You’ll still feel the same even if you’re crowned as the queen
You suddenly got so rich
But the mirror shows that your face is still so pale and icy
Riding on the shopping cart in a empty supermarket
Do you want to buy yourself?
Do you think you’ve got enough to do it?

Lie once again and get everything you want
And if you last as nothing but raw meat
Nothing but raw meat
Scream and let everything break down
Break it down and get every single piece of the broken glass
To cut yourself
And to be satisfied for a moment
Open it and cry with your blood

You scream for more all the time
But nobody wants to hear it
They just ignore and let you lie bleeding
You can’t understand why
And want to get away to a dark filthy place
Where you can sleep on the abandoned railway

Michael... that is excellent! I would say more, but this is so good, I'll let it stand for itself.
Are you really gonna take it like that?
Riding on the missile with a cowboy hat?

Oh, well the world is gonna end
So dance around the fire that we once believed in
Oh, wanna tear it down again, now
'Cause there's nothing left for us to bleed
Give it up, the sons of anarchy
So come around and have another round on me!

That really is good....I have to say that I can identify with quite a few of the sentiments expressed. Do you have any music to go with it?

There was a fantastic universal sense that whatever we were doing was right, that we were winning....
And that, I think, was the handle - that sense of inevitable victory over the forces of Old and Evil. Not in any mean or military sense; we didn't need that. Our energy would simply prevail. There was no point in fighting - on our side or theirs. We had all the momentum; we were riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave....
So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look West, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark - that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back.

@Chris: Thank you for the comment. I'm so glad about what you said :)

@fellranger: Thanks for the comment. No, I don't have any music for all of my lyrics. So they are still poetical pieces.

Here's a new one after a while:

War Son

His father was an famous officer in the military
They rarely met and couldn’t remember the faces of each other
He lived worried all the time in his youth
He had been through everything in such a young age
He was not afraid to die and was ready to shoot at everything
And he didn’t t need anyone
He didn’t need anyone, He completely forgot loneliness
Now it was time to put on the helmet

The first bomb fell near the basement he resisted
The war had been announced some time ago
But he ignored everything and never cared
His world was never getting better
Nobody wanted to love him, Nothing could satisfy him
He kept his existence with anger and special medicines to cure his heart

The first alarms were heard in the dawn
Invasion from the other side and now everyone were afraid to death
March of unknown soldiers and explosions everywhere
So many houses on fire, So many people screaming
Now he saw enough and decided to prepare the war with his army
The enemies could come anytime and he was hungry for the massacre
He heard the first footsteps a few minutes later
The enemies were coming closer and closer
He said to his army: “My fellas, Are you ready to blow up their brains?”
They all nodded and started to fire their weapons as soon the enemies arrived
They were so fast that none of their victims could run
He started to fire the machine gun as more enemies kept on coming
Most of them died in a very short time
His army killed every single man from the other side even if they wanted to give up
It was his victory and the invasion was stopped thanks to him

He was a war son, He had been in a war everyday in his life
From his birth to the death
Nobody remembers his name but everybody knows that he was a war son
There was nothing that could heal him
He might died through drug overdose but he lasted as a war son till the end
He was never a hero, Just a bloody war son

Here are finally some new lyrics I did!

Hope you're gonna like it! :)

Life is often a disaster
And we often realize too late that we are actually the monsters
There’s a demon inside all of us
And we feel it, feel it
Yes, We feel it deep inside
Arguing with people we could die for
And nothing seems to be serious
Since everybody’s a liar

We are suffering day after day without knowing why
Always waiting for the salvation
Waiting for the moment to be free forever
What we want to do now is
Killing all the viruses inside and around us

Sliding down a ice mountain
Losing control at the wrong time
Keeping the eyes wide open
Getting frozen to kill all the viruses

There’s a little silent puppet I can’t stop following
I don’t know her at all but I’m so lost in her
I don’t know her name and don’t know where she belongs
She’s so quiet and I never heard her talking
But sometimes I heard her giggling quietly

I saw her for the first time in the theatre
She sat at the front of me and I thought she had a cute hairdo
And it was not the last time I’ve seen her
I’ve been watching her when she was around and ignored everyone
She still doesn’t know I’m watching her all the time
She’s so cute, I would keep her forever if I had the chance
I always hope we can get close as it gets
But I know, I know I’ll never get to touch her

Little silent puppet, I don’t know who you are but I’m all lost in you
You are so soft, fragile and innocent
I can’t do anything right because of you
But it’s my own problem
Sometimes I can’t sleep because I’m so excited about dreaming of you
I really wish you could be my puppet lying next to me
Little silent puppet, I don’t know who you are but I’m all lost in you

I’m hopeless and know that we will never get to know each other
But I’ll still dream because it’s so beautiful and really precious
You know it would blow me away if you’ll ever say one word to me
I don’t know who you are but I’m all lost in you
Look at me, Talk to me, Touch me

You know I won’t mind to carry you home in a cold night
And it would be heavenly to die with you in a bathtub filled with our blood
