NES SP

Post by Bothead » Sat Jun 19, 2004 12:45 pm

I was looking through an old Nintendo mag a while ago and came across this. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Nintendo's Famicon/NES system, a soecial edition GBA SP was released with a NES design on it. There was also a bunch of NES games re-released on the GBA aswell. Does anyone know if there will be a PAL release for this?

Ooh, that's a nifty looking tribute. :) I'm saving up to get a GBA this summer, maybe I'll try to find that design. :)

Dunno about a PAL release... I know there was a Famicon SP released in Japan...but in very limited quantities.

So......................dunno!

PAL release = not a chance. Sorry.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone’s fault. If it was Us, what did that make Me? After all, I’m one of Us. I must be. I’ve certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We’re always one of Us. It’s Them that do bad things. - Jingo, Terry Pratchett

I know the NES games are coming out in a month or two. I'm going to America later this year so I might be able to pick one up over there.

My cousin has that actual game system in her basement. We play it like 24 hours a day, man... no really, i love playing on it. Super Mario is my best friend, and she has the gun for duck hunt, it's actually pretty high tech considering how long ago it was made. I haven't gotten around to actually buying SP yet, so maybe I'll get this edition of it... it's so retro fun!

Dig Dug
Mario Bros. (the mini game version that's in all of the Mario Advance titles)
Dr. Mario
Wrecking Crew

No games yet. That's a future paycheck. I'm just happy to have the GBA itself. :)
