Yeah, I've seen the previews a couple of times, its sounds like a funny satiric look on the war on terriorism...I'm actually contemplating seeing it.

Terrierism? You mean like the army of extremist dogs out of "Men at Arms"? :)

I've got to say, love the title.

Sure, I've got some hindsight bias... not denying that for a second.

Upon viewing the trailer, my feelings are mixed. I do like the Thunderbirds/Supermarionation style presentation of it, but nothing in it strikes me as particuarly amusing or well done apart from that. I agree with Chris, the title is actually neat though. The voice of the main villain sounds too much like Cartman for my tastes though. Then again, realistically, trailers have fooled me before (Shrek for example... awful trailer, decent movie.). It does have promise, but I severly doubt it considering the people behind it. There.

From what I heard, Team America will get an R rating. However, it could be edited to suit younger audiences.
Before continuing, it may be in your best interest, dear reader, to stop and ponder this. Picture it in your mind's eye. An evil one-eyed midget named Cheatum swam across the Gulf of Mexico wearing a shark fin on his back and then planted a bomb on a boat. Think about that. Let that sink in. Now. Wouldn't you want to buy a wrestling show after seeing this?

Doubtful. It actually almost got an NC-17 rating for ridiculous amounts of puppet sex.

I still will probably see it though.

Saw a scene of it on the Tonight Show. A UN inspector was in Kim's base and demanded to see every room to search for WMDs, or else "we will be angry. And you will get a letter saying how angry we are!" Kim then uses the "step a little to the right" trap and dropped the inspector into a shark tank. It was pretty funny but, according to creators, the best part wasn't shown. It was of a real shark destroying the puppet.

Puppet sex? Sign me up! :P

Seriously though, I'll probably see it. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the "South Park" movie and "Baseketball."

Y'know, it's interesting. I don't know if it's because of this movie's hub-bub or what, but a bunch of the kids in our theatrical department are trying to get people together to do a performance of Parker and Stone's very first project. 'Cannibal: The Musical'. :o
