Roll On 2005...What, We're Here Already?

Post by Bothead » Sat Jan 01, 2005 1:35 pm

Happy New Year, everyone! Nothing that eventful happened to me last night, went by peacefully. As for my New Year Resolution (that's if I'm bothered to do it), I should probably write more fanfiction. The only thing I finished last year was my Soul Caliber parody. My Notepad is on the fritz (randomly switches off), so I guess I have to do my work on Microsoft Word (lousy green lines, they're not the boss of me!).
Before continuing, it may be in your best interest, dear reader, to stop and ponder this. Picture it in your mind's eye. An evil one-eyed midget named Cheatum swam across the Gulf of Mexico wearing a shark fin on his back and then planted a bomb on a boat. Think about that. Let that sink in. Now. Wouldn't you want to buy a wrestling show after seeing this?

Dance Epidemic tonight!

Happy New Year!

It went by peacefully. Fireworks and nothing out of the ordinary. Oh, except for that my 26-year-old sister and her boyfriend announced their engagement. Whoopie! ;D

Congratulations to your sister, CapAdde!

As for me... well, I didn't do much, and besides was feeling a bit under the weather yesterday, but still, it's nice to have a new year.

My resolutions:

1. Be nicer and more mellow
2. Review less fanfiction. Give others a chance to do it.
3. BRING BACK BUN-BUN! (OK, that's not up to me, but Pete had better do it now, or he'll ruin my resolution.)

So, a happy new year to you all!

Hoppy Noo Yeer, everybody!

I resolve to eat less chocolate and to yell at my roommate more.

Happy new year!

My resolution ages ago was to make no more resolutions, but meh, I'll break it for the whole spirit of things.

1. Be a better Catholic
2. Draw more Simpsons stuff for here
3. Increase attention span.
4. When asked a question, to say "yes" or "no", not "I don't know" or shrug shoulders in reply.

And congrats on your sis' engagement, Capadde! :)

Akemashite omedetou!

I resolve to write more original fiction, rather than just fanfic spoofs and fusions. Or at least write more MSTs.

EDIT: I also resolve to at least begin to learn Korean before I go to college. Korean's going to be the new Japanese - Korean manga's starting to become more and more popular here.

Mine were:

No mass-murders
No orgies
No more class A drugs.

Two out of three ain't bad...

I've added a more realistic one as well: finishing athena. I'm almost there! Just got a few million more lines to add!

I went to a little gathering (far too civilised to be called a party) at a friend's flat and made cocktails. I also resolved to 'be happy' this year, but my hangover on the first morning instantly put paid to that.

Oh, and congrats Capadde!

Oh, yes, another resolution to add. I resolve to practice drawing more, so that I'm happy with my work and can/will start NoP again...
