Bad ideas, MSTd for your fun and my profit

Post by c_nordlander » Sun Nov 12, 2006 8:35 pm

The other day, I felt a bit inspired to write and, just for fun, searched Google for "ideas for plays". And found a page which... well, my initial reaction was: "I wish people would write clearly on their pages whether they suck or not."

Then I realised that this would make a good MST. Overnight, this whim hardened into resolution.

So... bad play storylines, having the piss taken out of it by my usual crew (Sam the stupid, randy vampire, Laverne the addled med student, and Marge the... you probably know Marge). The viewpoints represented here are not mine, just held up to ridicule. The author's name has been removed to protect his identity, and, well, so I won't get sued for libel.

Enjoy!

EDIT: I got one excellent line from Beb. Beb, you know which one it is.

Well, everyone already said so in chat, but another great outing!

I'd be reading it right now if not for the fact that I can't find any programs that'll open it.

Why not use a more universal file format, like a text file?

Ahah thats awesome!
Homer: Marge? Since I'm not talking to Lisa, would you please ask her to pass me the syrup?
Marge: Dear, please pass your father the syrup, Lisa.
Lisa: Bart, tell Dad I will only pass the syrup if it won't be used on any meat product.
Bart: You dunkin' your sausages in that syrup homeboy?
Homer: Marge, tell Bart I just want to drink a nice glass of syrup like I do every morning.
Marge: Tell him yourself, you're ignoring Lisa, not Bart.
Homer: Bart, thank your mother for pointing that out.
Marge: Homer, you're not not-talking to me and secondly I heard what you said.
Homer: Lisa, tell your mother to get off my case.
Bart: Uhhh, dad, Lisa's the one you're not talking to.
Homer: Bart, go to your room.

Openoffice is free, Vulgaris.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone’s fault. If it was Us, what did that make Me? After all, I’m one of Us. I must be. I’ve certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We’re always one of Us. It’s Them that do bad things. - Jingo, Terry Pratchett
