Photoshop question re: skin tones

Post by Stretch_Dude » Sun Oct 08, 2006 9:07 pm

I'm coloring an assignment for school, and find myself slightly vexed: One of my characters is Hispanic, and my every attempt to create the proper skin tone makes him look like he's been swimming in Cheetos. Does anyone know of a good base color for a Hispanic skin tone in CMYK?
I memorized "Holy Grail" really well
I can recite it right now and have you ROTFLOL

I draw too, dammit!

I would suggest finding pictures of people and getting a pallette of skintones from those, rather than trying to guess the right shade.
