Seriously, I don't even watch the show any more, but I *don't* want that character to go.

I hope this'll turn out to be false.

EDIT: OK, reading the article, it seems like the character's identity is just a rumour, with nothing really substantiating it. (Also, why the heck do they keep getting Krusty's dad's name wrong? Don't they have Google on whichever planet the writers live now?)

I hope the whole episode gets canned really. I mean, Marcia just died! It's a bit on the tasteless side!
