The Simpsons & Futurama Fanworks Central

Overall, I liked this. Both plots were solid, there were some good gags, and quite a few sweet moments.

Homer's plot was very sweet. His calling Homer Jr. "Hoju" all through the episode was a great callback. Loved the running gag with the guys' poker games, the antagonism between Hoju and Maggie, and Homer's attachment to Hoju overall. My main issue is with Marge. While her irritation is very understandable (Homer acting more attached to Hoju than his own children), I feel the writers overdid it, and she actually comes off kind of jerkassy as a result.

Lisa's plot I really enjoyed. In an earlier season, this easily could've been Lisa crusading against cheerleading in general, but having her lead the cheerleaders on strike for better treatment (and actually having fun doing some cheerleading herself) made for a much better subplot.
