All-Lego, All Stop Motion Episode to Air In May

Post by missy_misery » Fri Mar 14, 2014 8:41 pm

It's actually called Block Like Me, And will apparently be in full stop animation versus traditional animation at the bookends.

Spoilers about the plot:

I don't see the point, to be honest. If it were a THoH segment it might be cool, but why a whole episode? (Also, there seem to be two different titles there. At least "Block Like Me" is funny.)

Though I do like the article. "... meaning that Homer & Co will become a different kind of yellow."

It actually feels like they took the VR ep from TOH and stretched it out, doesn't it?

And yep, it seems to be "Brick like Me".

Apparently Matt Selman is the showrunner on this episode. I can't find a proper list of episodes he's showrun recently, but this is a very positive sign.

Well, IIRC one of the episodes he was responsible for was Future-Drama.

... Well at least I didn't get my hopes up.

For fuck's sake. He was the writer on "Future-Drama." Perusing Wikipedia, he was credited as showrunner on "The Book Job," "The Food Wife," "A Totally Fun Thing That Bart Will Never Do Again," "Gorgeous Grampa," "The Saga of Carl," "Steal This Episode," "The War of Art," and probably some others I missed.

So I reiterate: Very positive sign.
