The Simpsons & Futurama Fanworks Central

Boy, airing this after last week's episode creates a bit of a contrast, doesn't it?

I liked this one. Very emotional, especially the third act. Also rather on the dark side, like Marge flat-out giving up on ever having a social life. And, you know, the whole plot in general. Marge doing the wrong thing for the right reasons, Bart being instantly suspicious of another girl sharing all of Lisa's interests, Lisa getting over her anger through the catharsis of making her mother cry... The whole episode had kind of a bleak tone to it.

John Oliver was a fun if brief guest. I just love hearing that guy talk. He could read the phone book and make it sound like a Monty Python sketch.

I have a lot of mixed feelings about this one; I was surprised by how dark they went - pleased, mind you, but surprised.
Also that last scene was so worth it.
