Good way to end the season.

Excellent treatment of Bart this episode; I like it when the writers have him grapple with guilt like this. Lisa narrating was a nice touch, and got in a couple of good lines to boot. Homer's subplot was quite funny and actually rather touching when it came to why the fireworks mean so much to him.

This episode was very well-paced, I noticed. Quick, but not rushed. The jokes come swiftly, and in great supply: Bart's pre-last-day-of-school excitement, the entirety of Field Day, both of Cletus's scenes, Homer transporting the gunpowder, and the very ending. God, that had me rolling.
