Slightly better than what I feared it would be. Slightly. Which is damning faint praise, but praise nonetheless.

I agree that it was slightly better than I expected.

In that it was only 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% godawful.

Eh, I wouldn't go as far to call it godawful. There was stuff that I really wish they didn't do and didn't need to see, but they remained mostly respectful of the characters and it wasn't entirely repulsive.

Like I said: damning faint praise.

Some of it was okay, but overall it wasn't that great especially given all the hype it received long before it aired.

I find it extremely unlikely that this is canon.

I'm not sure that even counts as damning with faint praise. That's more like damning with faint damns.

Pft, I will always maintain that SSG is when the show took its dip in quality for me, and I compare everything to it. I mean, it started to bobble around the time of the People of NYC vs Homer Simpson, but SSG was when they gave in entirely to the sarcasm for me.

There were portions that didn't completely nauseate me, thus! Faint praise.
