Spoiler Another long-anticipated episode (longer for some than most, since Judd Apatow came up with this back in the show's early heyday), and while last week's had an absurd plot bolstered by decent jokes, this one was all-around solid.
The meat of the episode, of course, is the friendship between Bart and the hypnotized Homer, and oh boy, is it a prime cut. I think this is most we've had kids acting like kids in I don't know how long, and it's wonderful. Just loaded with all sorts of great moments. Sven Golly also had a lot of funny moments (personal favorite: making Wiggum think he's a kangaroo, followed immediately by Wiggum having Maggie tucked into his belt). The ending was very sweet.
Thumbs up on this one.

I suppose everybody on the planet saw the closing clip...
Je Suis Charlie
(Sorry, crummy sketch. I spent all of five minutes on it...)

Spoiler This one was downright cute. Apatow actually managed to craft something I enjoyed, which is a feat in of itself, and it worked better for the characters than it had any right to.
