Spoiler This was pretty good.
It's kind of hard to pin down whose episode this is, Marge's, Lisa's, or Laney's. Kind of a mix of all three, I guess. Laney's a neat character; sort of like a less jaded female Krusty, with all her seen-it-all showbizziness. Lisa was adorable throughout the episode, and Bart nailed every joke he was given. (Also, mooning Lisa's audition video. Never thought we'd see something like that again.) Marge was definitely in overprotective mode here, and not without cause. I liked that she came around in the end on her own, even if she wasn't happy about it.
Lots of fun little jokes throughout the episode. Everything with Lenny stood out in particular, as well as the Amish Flanders.

This one really worked for me!
Spoiler Lainey popped out as an original, interesting character, and definitely felt like someone Moe would have known during his Hollywood days and who he would loosely date. She was surprisingly sympathetic too.
It was lovely to see Marge concerned with Lisa's well-being, and hey, a funny musical parody!
Not as good as "Halloween of Horror", but a close second for me.
