Re: What is your favorite simpson episode
I honestly have no idea whatsoever. "Lisa's Wedding" has become a way too clichéd pick for me to choose (sorry) as well as "Last Exit To Springfield" (the Sgt. Pepper of Simpsons episodes), so I don't know what to answer. I remember being a fan of "The Secret War Of Lisa Simpson", though.

Forgive me, but this makes absolutely no sense (Too many people like it, so i don't?)."Lisa's Wedding" has become a way too clichéd pick for me to choose
But i will agree that choosing only one is an impossible task.

Not only that, but I have mentioned it so many times, it has become tiresome already...Marco wrote: Forgive me, but this makes absolutely no sense (Too many people like it, so i don't?).

Choosing one is impossible. "Lisa's Wedding", "Summer of 4'2"", "Seperate Vocations", "Last Exit to Springfield", "Rosebud"... All great episodes.
Other episodes that I come to think of include "Lisa's Sax", "And Maggie Makes Three" and "$pringfield". But one in particular makes me feel like rewatching immediatly: "Lisa on Ice".
But seriously, there are many excellent episodes. Just came to think of "Bart vs. Lisa vs. The Third Grade", possibly the best episode of season 14.
I've mentioned too many now, so I'll shut up.

Re: What is your favorite simpson episode
Yeah, it's nearly impossible to pick just one. For me, just pick a random episode from Seasons 3-8.
I memorized "Holy Grail" really well
I can recite it right now and have you ROTFLOL
- "Weird Al" Yankovic, "White and Nerdy"

Re: What is your favorite simpson episode
I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned "Homer Bad Man" here; that was as densely packed with jokes and commentary as any before or since. It went off on journalism, sexual harassment, political correctness, even video game addiction...I believe the writers have been trying to match this episode for the last ten years but never quite making it.
"Bart Sells His Soul" was a really excellent dramatic episode that also had a great surreal feel to it, almost as if some of the spirit of THOH had crept in. Great characterization of Bart and Lisa, one of her finest moments ever.
And then "Lisa's Rival"...I'll admit the plot and subplots were sort of disjointed and cobbled together...but man, the characterization was right on, Lisa having to deal with something she never thought she'd have to, a new kid as smart as she, was a great storyline, Ralph had one of his best episodes ever, and Allison Taylor--nuff said.

Top Five: (who can pick just one?)
1. Rosebud
2. Deep Space Homer
3. Sideshow Bob Roberts
4. Homer the Heretic
5. Homer Loves Flanders
I know these are all fairly early episodes, but can you blame me?

Re: What is your favorite simpson episode
For me classic episodes are either 'Secret war of Lisa Simpson' or 'Lisa on ice'

Re: What is your favorite simpson episode
Nice mixed bag here. I can't really say which one is my absolute favorite, so I'll do my top 5 in no particular order.
5. Homer vs. Lisa and the 8th Commandment
HOMER: Excuse me. I hate to interrupt you're judging me...
4. Kamp Krusty
KRUSTY: You people are vultures! Where were you when I sang at FarmAid?!
3. 'Round Springfield
"Jazzman." Nuff said. I *love* Carol King!
2. A Streetcar Named Marge
SINCLAIR: I have directed three plays and I have had three heart attacks!
1. 22 Short Films About Springfield
CLETUS: Back you go. To wait's for a woman of less discriminatin' tastes.

Re: What is your favorite simpson episode
So many to choose from, but I'm going to have to go with either Summer of 4'2 or Last Exit to Springfield.
I also thought Moe Baby Blue was an incredible episode. Without question my favorite in the last couple of years.

"You move only Twice"
I just love the way this ep moves along the story, not to mention one of the greatest side characters of all time, Scorpio. Actually Season 8 in general is my favorite with such great eps as this and...
El Viaje de Nuestro Jomer (The Mysterious Voyage of Homer)" - Homer + insanity pepper = hillarious
TToH - Lisa's people she creates
bart after dark - bordello
Hurricane Neddy
Springfield Files
"Simpsoncalifragilisticexpiala (Annoyed Grunt) cious"
"Brother From Another Series" - Kelsey grammer is perfect again
"Homer's Enemy"
now how can you argue with that
