Have you ever dreamt about the Simpsons?
Wow, last night I had this weird, yet awesome dream about the Simpsons. A few of the characters were there, but oddly enough the Simpsons didn't appear, only some of the background characters. I've never dreamt about the Simpsons before, and- Oh God. Am I really that obsessed? I mean, obsessed enough to friggin dream about them? *..weirds out..*
Well...I guess the coolest thing about this dream was the fact that I actually looked my Simpsons personna. (Ya know, crazy red head.) It began where I was in the Simpsons' house, but only the house didn't belong to the Simpsons, the Simpsons weren't even there, instead the house belonged to me and I was living alone. From what I can remember, nothing happened in the house. I just woke up one day in Homer and Marge's bed *cough* and decided to go to England on the train.....on the train. Yes, the train. So, I head down to the train station, and see that the train I was about to ride was an old fashioned, realistic steam train, not a cartoon train. I spotted a few Simpsons characters on it..there was Lisa's teacher, Sideshow Bob, Cecil...and, for some reason, Principal Skinner was driving. I headed towards the very back seat (probably because in real life, I always sit on the backseat of a bus if it's free.) Sideshow Bob and Cecil were sitting together near the front, I looked at them and they were..hugging each other, and holding hands, and...kissing...and, they were gay...which was enough to make me gag because they're brothers. (Probably dreamt this because of the Entertainment Weekly website.)Sideshow-Bob-is-not-gay-because-I-SAY-SO AND THE RUMORS ARE ALL EVIL, EVIL LIES.
So, after this I started to panic and run up and down the aisle of the train screaming, until I tripped over something and landed flat on my face. I woke up before I actually hit the floor, (this was at 4 am) and because I was half asleep, I actually said "Well, that dream was totally f****d." without realizing what I was saying, and then fell back to sleep. (I never, ever cuss like that...I'm not sure why I did, though it was probably just because I was extremely cranky.)
I'm pretty sure I've had more dreams about the Simpsons, I just don't remember them. After all, they say you have at least seven dreams every night, you just don't remember them when you wake up. (Some of you might refuse to believe that, but I believe it. =D)
So..any of you ever dreamt about the Simpsons before? I'm interested in knowing, and I like talking about the weird dreams we all have anyway. xD

Re: Have you ever dreamt about the Simpsons?
Yeah, I did several times. Glad I'm not the only one fan who's crazy to this degree! My very first Simpsonic dream was very clean and simple - I've seen winged Lisa flying around, probably after watching Marco's pictures too much (after waking up I decided to write something about it... you know the rest of the story) and my last dream was just a simple scene (or I didn't remember the rest) - the preparation to the races, with Lisa on the pony, Maggie on the SLH and Bart on the pig. Heh, that was damn funny...

Re: Have you ever dreamt about the Simpsons?
I have crazy-assed dreams ever now and then. Only one involved the Simpsons so far.
Can't remember much 'bout it, but it involved Marge reading a break-up letter from Homer as he drove around in his car. (I'm pretty certain the driving aspect came about by my non-stop playing of Hit & Run at the time)

Sometimes I feel like dressing up my Gaia avatar.
Feels kinda pointless since I don't actually do stuff at Gaia, so I'm putting it here.

Re: Have you ever dreamt about the Simpsons?
I've only met Bart out of the actual family in a dream, I was riding frinks hover bike (yeah I was also playing too much hit and run at the time)
however the dream was kinda dull, I broke the bike, got the comic book guy to fix it
(very random ) and yeah, I read it around springfield again and woke up when I crashed at mr burns's office which is a good thing! lol

Re: Have you ever dreamt about the Simpsons?
I've had a couple of simpson based dreams, not many that I remember in great detail. The most recent one involved Lisa as a snail, which after a bit of tweaking ended up inspiring that pic I did of Bart chasing her with a salt cellar a while back.

I dreamed that I had gotten Lisa pregnant, this made Homer and Marge angry. So me and Lisa moved to Cuba and opened a jazz club on the Havanah seafront with our son, Taylor.

Remember when he ate my goldfish? And you said I never had a goldfish? Then why did I have the bowl, Bart? WHY DID I HAVE THE BOWL?

Hmm... I know I have a couple of times, I just can't remember them.
On a related topic, I've dreamed about this forum. O_O; It involved me posting a fanfic, and someone replied to it. ...I have the most thrilling dreams, don't I?

Re: Have you ever dreamt about the Simpsons?
I've dreamt about the Simpsons at least once... let's see, there was one with Lisa. I think she was the only Simpsons character in it, though. Anyway, some people were dragging/carrying her away, and she screamed out the reference to a Bible verse. I looked it up, and it made no sense. (Especially since I looked it up as soon as I woke up. )
I also dreamt about Bart and Jessica. They were adults, and basically, the dream ripped off the basic plot of "I Married Marge." *SHUDDER*

Re: Have you ever dreamt about the Simpsons?
Most of my OFF-related dreams are pretty unmemorable cameo-driven affairs, but the one that springs to mind first is the one in which I was prepping for a college final before walking into the classroom, opening my blue book, and reading that my final exam was to write a fanfiction centered on Lisa Simpson, with a few specific requirements (length, theme, etc.)
Re: Have you ever dreamt about the Simpsons?
I've actually done that several times. The sacriest one was when for a couple of days I kept dreaming each night I'd receieved a pm, sent a reply, then deleted the original message. A combination of the vividness, and the fact that performing this action leaves no physical evidence to check up on the next morning, meant that it took me quite a while to satisfy myself that it really had been a dreamn a related topic, I've dreamed about this forum. I have plenty of dreams, few are Simpsons ones. Most are about aliens and pulse rifles for some reason, but the if it was'nt for a random Simpson dream over 2 year ago, I would'nt be drawing, I would'nt like the Simpsons, and I would'nt be on this site.
Before then, I had not botherd with the Simpsons in any way. Yeah its funny, but so was Ren and Stimpy. Then one night by random, I had a dream starring Bart and Lisa. They were running from a bulldozer which was trying to kill them, they ran down a ditch onto a massive red trampoline which was a dead end. I think Bart said somthing like "So this is the end...", As the bulldozer came closer Bart and Lisa hugged and kissed.... For reasons unknown... and I woke up. I presume they both died.
The next day, I sat down, and decided to draw Bart in a comic. I was watching Ocean's Eleven at the time so it ended up like my first drawing. Casino Bart. Two years and so many months later, JOY!

Re: Have you ever dreamt about the Simpsons?
I did have one Simpsons dream once. It was very vivid, and played out like an actual, animated episode, the art style made it look like it was from around Season Three or Four. It was something about Bart telling Lisa something scary, and the two of them running off from school during bad, snowy weather in winter, and various staff members of Springfield Elementary forming a team of sorts to go look for them.
It was so detailed and like something I would've seen in real life, that for at least several hours after waking up from the dream I felt a strong conviction that I had actually watched the episode and that it really did exist...

Re: Have you ever dreamt about the Simpsons?
Not sure if this counts but....sometime last year I had a dream. In this dream I was looking at the TV and it came over the news that the entire cast and crew had been killed in a plane crash. And, more recently I dremt that Matt Groening had died of a heart attack on 17th November 2007.
Creepy.
