I think I'll be stopping at 9 as well. And speaking of head boxes, does anyone know if you can still send away for the alternate season 6 box? I'm really not fond of Homer's head sitting on my shelves.J2 wrote: Well, this is the only head box I'd buy and Season 9 is the last DVD set I'm buying.

Regular box.
And according to Play.com it'll be out in the UK on 4th September but I bet it gets pushed back.

Heh, that's a pretty nice one.
Trace said he didn't see himself as an icon, but wanted to be a logo. Frank settled for being a font.

Yeah, that's a really nice cover. Probably the best looking of the alternate boxes so far, IMO. I like how they've also got Mr. Sparkle and Frank Grimes on the spine.

Re: The Simpsons Season 8 DVD
You could argue Season 8 is the season before the show went south for a couple years. Amazingly, the Simpsons is one of the only shows in television history that actually got better after a lull.

And of course, by the way, I will likely buy this the day it comes out! Along with seasons 9-17.
