"Any pile of stunted growth unaware that entertainment is just that and nothing more, deserves to doom themselves to some dank cell, somewhere, for having been so stupid!! Movies, books, T.V., music - they're all just entertainment, not guidebooks for damning yourself!" - Nny
I draw too, dammit!

Re: REVIEW: [7ACV10] Near-Death Wish
Like most episodes this season, it was cute...I haven't really seen any barn-burners, but it's been a good season. My wife even enjoyed this one with me. I did have to chuckle because my latest story deals extensively with that virtual reality universe with the head sets - Futurama has done some really creative things with it, beginning with "Bicyclops Built for Two" and that great video game they had. I think the parents were solid characters, and I enjoyed the fact that Love the mention of Matrix, which I did in my Mall story. Ironic, because the Matrix and Futurama came out around the same time, and Fry would have probably seen it. I still had trouble explaining Fry's lineage to my wife, who does extensive genealogy work; I also had to explain how Fry is his own Grandfather ::chuckles::
Oh, and I also enjoyed the joke about Queens, New York - my father was raised there, and I've been there several times.
