REVIEW: [RABF01] To Cur With Love

Eight for eight, and I believe we have a new top contender for best of the season.
I memorized "Holy Grail" really well
I can recite it right now and have you ROTFLOL
- "Weird Al" Yankovic, "White and Nerdy"

"Any pile of stunted growth unaware that entertainment is just that and nothing more, deserves to doom themselves to some dank cell, somewhere, for having been so stupid!! Movies, books, T.V., music - they're all just entertainment, not guidebooks for damning yourself!" - Nny

I draw too, dammit!

I never wanted heart. I just want comedy.

EDIT: OK, that came off as too harsh. I didn't mean to say that the episode is bad (since I haven't seen it), or that you shouldn't like it. Just that while I've complained a lot about the quality of the show after Season 9, lack of emotion never bothered me.
Are you really gonna take it like that?
Riding on the missile with a cowboy hat?

Oh, well the world is gonna end
So dance around the fire that we once believed in
Oh, wanna tear it down again, now
'Cause there's nothing left for us to bleed
Give it up, the sons of anarchy
So come around and have another round on me!

My biggest problem with latter season Simpsons hasn't been the emotion within the episode or lack thereof - it's the cynicism with which they write about those emotions. It's been suffering from a fear of sincerity for years, IMOHO.

On to the episode proper:
Now known as Lisabella! (Or Missy.  Missy's good.)

Creator of the Waving Universe

Crack!Fic, The Marge Simpson Way: "Just then, Sir Lancelot rode up on a white horse and saved Joan of Arc.  They got married and lived in a spaceship.  The end." - Tales from the Public Domain, "Hot Child In The City"
