Fairwater, Simpsons Spinoff idea

Following the death of his wife Marge in 1992, Homer and his three childeren, Bart, 11, Lisa, 9 and Maggie, 2, moved to the little mountain town of Fairwater. 10 years later, and Homer has a pretty well payed job as a columist for The Fairwater Bugle. And Bart and Lisa are very happy in high school.

I'll post some episode ideas as soon as I can.

Not much for me to say at the moment. Poignant starting-point, could work. Can't really picture Homer as a newspaper columnist, though.

Oh, all right. Not to put too fine a point on it: are you going to *write* this, or are you going to post a lot of episode ideas and then do nothing at all with them?

I'm going to write it. I thought about just posting ideas but I thought that the characters need a lot more depth. First ep up soon

Episode 1.01 Newspaper Trails

Jared Morgan, the editor of the Fairwater Bugle. tries to get Homer to write something more interesting than what he had for dinner the night before.
Homer dicides to take the family on a 'inspiration vacation' to nearby Lake Wagatawunga, to find something to wright about. Meanwhile Lisa's boyfriend, Sheen Lewiski, is joining Bart's rock band, Jojo And The Rockers much to Lisa's distaste.
