I wanted to post my new story ideas here, for security reasons. [It would take a while to explain.]
Megabart; Doughnut Network 4: Basically a parody of Megaman battle network 4; Red Sun and Blue Moon. If you haven't played it, Don't worry. I am including a run-down of the game. "Ahem" As with the others in the series, this takes place in the year 20XX, where nearly everybody has small sytems called P.E.T's. [PErsonal Terminal] and a netnavi. A netnavi can preform daily tasks through the internet, of smaller intranets, and most importantly, delete viruses. There is one particular pair, Lan Hikari and Megaman.exe, w2ho are quite famous for their previous efforts. A small tournament is coming to the town, a netbattle tournament. A netbattle is when 2 different navis fight eachother until deletion. Little do the participants know, they are slowly being lured into a trap by a violent netcriminal syndicate... And even wores, Lan and Megaman enter the tournament! What will happen to them? Find out in my next script: [As I said, the parody, but basically the same outline of the story,] Megabart; Doughnut network 4! I will also be putting the parts to the story here, another reason I made a new thread.

Sounds like it has great potential, even though I have no knowledge of the game.

Lisa: Bart, tell Dad I will only pass the syrup if it won't be used on any meat product.
Bart: You dunkin' your sausages in that syrup homeboy?
Homer: Marge, tell Bart I just want to drink a nice glass of syrup like I do every morning.
Marge: Tell him yourself, you're ignoring Lisa, not Bart.
Homer: Bart, thank your mother for pointing that out.
Marge: Homer, you're not not-talking to me and secondly I heard what you said.
Homer: Lisa, tell your mother to get off my case.
Bart: Uhhh, dad, Lisa's the one you're not talking to.
Homer: Bart, go to your room.

@Casper: That's really up to the writer in question. I don't believe there are any rules about it. Posting a new thread for a single idea may be good if you want specific opinions on it, or if you're going to post the story in the same thread, which seems to be the case here. Just my views, of course, since I'm not a moderator.
@ametur_poet: As for the idea, I find it hard to say anything about it at the moment, since you don't really describe the fanfic, only the game it parodies. It could very well work. I haven't played the game in question, though I'm fond of the old NES "Megaman" games. (I also think the name "Doughnut Network" is a bit lame, but it might work in context.) I'll have to see more of it to give any opinions, I believe.
