Venturing a proposal
Now we have this board, I'm having a slightly crazy idea... how about an online Venture Brothers RPG? I'd just love to roleplay one of those losers...

That's a scay idea.
Our choicest plans have fallen through, our airiest castles tumbled over, because of lines we neatly drew and later neatly stumbled over.

A wonderfully, hilariously scary idea.
Trace said he didn't see himself as an icon, but wanted to be a logo. Frank settled for being a font.

I agree. That would be insane. So, of course, I'd love to see it! Even take part in it! I call Dr. Orpheus!

Re: Venturing a proposal
Hehe, you would!
If we were to do it, I'd probably be...I dunno, maybe Mr. White. He's a fun supporting character.

Hooray for adding this section!!!
Homer eats a little too much Chile to strong pepper and is found with hullicinations amongst other things it speaks with a dog.
Re: Venturing a proposal
Well, obviously I'd be the host handsome, intelligent and debonair character in the series.

Re: Venturing a proposal
I should have said this earlier, but I forgot: since the two previous RPGs on this board have been an "everyone is on the same side" one and an "everyone is fighting everyone else", how about the VB RPG set up like this:
There are two teams. You choose either to play as one of the good guys or as a Guild member or other villain. And... well. The team that eliminates the other somehow, wins.
Edit: and FYI, I call dibs on the Baron.

Re: Venturing a proposal
Somehow I'm not surprised. I figured you'd play either the Baron or Molotov.

Re: Venturing a proposal
I like the idea. Dunno if I'll get into it, but if I do, I call dibs on THE MONARCH!
<gkscotty|drawing> most people play Pokemon games with GameFAQs or a Pokéwiki open
<gkscotty|drawing> you seem to have TVTRopes
Sometimes I feel like dressing up my Gaia avatar.
Feels kinda pointless since I don't actually do stuff at Gaia, so I'm putting it here.

Re: Venturing a proposal
Somehow I get the feeling everyone will choose the bad side...
It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone’s fault. If it was Us, what did that make Me? After all, I’m one of Us. I must be. I’ve certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We’re always one of Us. It’s Them that do bad things. - Jingo, Terry Pratchett

Well, yeah, the bd guys are all pretty cool.
* Commisar Geranovich suddenly can't decide between Venture and Orpheus...
