Season 2 DVD

Post by Sheana_Molloy » Fri Dec 01, 2006 7:49 am

It's a'comin'!  From the mouth of Jackson Publick himself:
What I can tell you is that the Venture Bros. Season Two DVD is presently scheduled to be released April 17, 2007. Doc and I are grinding out all the supplemental materials as I write this--we've recorded commentary for every episode (some with James Urbaniak and Mike Sinterniklaas as our very special guests) which we can guarantee will be even less entertaining and more off-topic than the last set's; we're filming some live action stuff which promises to have fewer bad costumes and more dazzling special effects, and we've compiled some 30 deleted "scenes" in various states of dis-animation, many of which you'll be glad we cut but some of which are pretty funny. You are already shouting "oh boy!" I know.

Oh Boy!x2

Season 1, BTW, is now on sale for $8.99 at Amazon.  Because I'm cheap, I just picked it up for a grand total of $12.98.

Between the announcement of the Christmas marathon and this, it's been a banner week for VB fans!

Like the previous one (and even more so), this DVD cover is shockingly awesome.

I'm holding off on buying mine until Christmas; anyone get theirs?  Any noteworthy cutscenes or extras?

The DVD, she is mine!  I dropped the last of my personal spending money on it, but I'd say it was worth it.  I'm probably gonna have a mini-watching marathon tonight...

Ditto, I don't even have season 1 yet.

I am having a mini mini marathon next weekend, when disc 1 of season 2 comes  in with Netflixxxx.
