It's very annoying, but in a way, I understand him: I can see myself losing interest in something like that. Also, Professor Impossible isn't one of my favourite characters by any means, so I won't be bothered if he's not in the next season.

Still, it annoys me.

I have to assume Colbert won't guest star on Spongebob Squarepants.

What??  Unless Stephen did a total 180, I can't imagine him telling his people to give Jackson such a nasty reply.  It makes no sense.
I honestly wonder if his people even told him about this...

It's probably just his PR people that made his reply sound nasty. He probably is busy or something perfectly understandable and couldn't do it and when it went through his PR people it ended up being worded kind of badly and sounding like ass, it happens often.

Ironically it seems like a lot of PR people or the "inbetween guys" seem to have horrible social skills. Either that or it's some bizzare way of keeping the illusion of his character or something. lol

Season 3's going to be awesome etc. One thing I wonder is if there's a reason why Dean's nowhere to be found in that picture with all the characters.

I heard apparently it's just simply because they didn't have any interesting look for Dean to put him in the picture. Hank at least had giant...torso laser.

Sidenote to the Colbert controversy - according to Jackson's last blog, he looped Dr. Impossible's lines for the upcoming episodes.  There's a possibility the tracks could end up being replaced before airtime.

If you're able to tune in to Adult Swim tonight, they're running their April Fool's Day stunt programming  - new clips of various shows, including a rough cut of a Season 3 Venture Bros. Episode!  Unfortunately, they aren't re-running it later in the block.

*happy dance*  That's sooner than I was expecting.

I don't suppose anyone stayed up on Tuesday to catch the rough cut?

Sadly, I missed all of it - but there are reports scattered about that it was good even though it lacked sfx.  Shows how strong scripts generally are with this show.
