Post by Fionn » Fri Feb 09, 2007 3:49 am

Hey you, out there in the cold,
Getting lonely, getting old,
Can you hear me?
Hey you, standing in the aisles,
With itching feet and fading smiles,
Can you feel me?
Hey You! Don\'t help them to bury the light.
Don\'t give in without a fight.

It is indeed great, isn't it?

I have also recently converted my brother to Venturism. Soon, I will no longer have to walk around knocking on people's doors and offering pamphlets.

Keep the faith, Brother A Spy in Mancunia...and to think I once dismissed "Adult Swim" as nothing  but just weird stuff you had to be high to find funny!

Hey, I do that (though I don't think being high would help at all). But I haven't thrown the idea of watching that show in the trash bin yet - I just have to step down from my disbelief and, well, find some episodes maybe on YouTube, 'cause I ain't staying awake for Adult Swim again in a million years.

I mean, just the fact that it had a Residents joke singlehandedly makes it very cool.

Oh man, please do that, Chris!  Start in my neighborhood, we'll go aroud together and people will feed us.

I guess I could see why some people thin Adult Swim is stoner programming.  Some of it is off the wall, some of it is awful and I wonder how people can watch ( cases in point- 12 oz Mouse and Squidbillies).  However, if you are high as a kite, you could be watching C-SPAN and be thrilled.

Seriously, I watched "Squidbillies" one time, and literally felt my brain die with each second.  But VB, man...it has David Bowie for crying out loud!

Squidbillies, 12 Oz. Mouse, and Tom Goes To The Mayor. Avoid these shows at all costs.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Robot Chicken, Venture Bros., and Sealab 2021 DVDs: Asborb these into your lovebox.

I have much love for Tom Goes to the Mayor...that, and the other things Tim and Eric do are great!  Sometimes their commercials are almost as funny and crazy as the show.
