Here's a question; what's the policy on salty language? (I ask because at the moment, my story has one use of, I dunno, call it PG-13/AA language in it.) Is the rule similar to TLZ (bad language only used in the show), or can we push the boat out a little more? (Not going crazy, obviously.)

If there is a rule on language, I may have to re-edit my story...

Because Graham is currently ill, I'm going to supply an informed guess that the rule on profanity in competition entries is the same as for all fanfiction posted on this site, which is that it's all right PROVIDED you put a warning (say, a PG rating) in the post. The judges are grown men and women who have heard that kind of words before.  :)

*nods*  Okay; warning in the story attached, and in the thread when I post it on the board - gotcha. Fair enough; it suddenly occurred to me that there was a naughty word, and I didn't remember a rule about it, and  I didn't want to be disqualified just because I didn't ask. So thank you for that. :)

So, given the high quality of the entries it looks like we might just have to delay the announcement of the winners a little bit. Joy. :)

On the one hand, that bums me out, because I was hoping for a verdict. On the other, however, I'm glad, because I don't know, which means I haven't come in last. (If that makes sense.) :)  I mean, I've waited this long - I can wait a little longer! :D

So judging is still going on. We should, hopefully, have the results by the end of saturday.
