REVIEWS: Bart's Night Out

Post by c_nordlander » Mon Dec 28, 2015 9:47 pm

A Simpsons fanfic. Jessica catches Bart vandalising and blackmails him into going on a date with Terri for the proverbial lulz. Now Bart has to sit through the Happy Little Elves Movie with the twins, or go to jail.

Story idea by May.

Comedy/romance (not very much of the latter); prose format. No objectionable content.

Hehehe, I think you already know full well how I feel about this one. I already gushed about it a fair bit and all. :3

A short story with a pretty simple set up, but so enjoyable! Everything is pretty much spot on (I particularly like the mention of PSA's in the theatre), and the characterisation just feels nice, and gave me quite a handful of belly laughs. It's impossible to not like anything here.

The creepypasta quip at the end for some reason took way too long to register to me, but the punchline justifies it. It's an excellent ending. This certainly cheered up a lot the turn of the year for me. :)

I loved the dialogue choices you made; and the plot is something wonderful and straight out the show, and just cute and enjoyable enough!
