Uh, trying to be less horrible at drawing.

The Simpsons and Futurama fan art as well as completely original works of art are welcome here. Marge doesn't look too bad, but Homer's just...off. His belly's kinda squashed (more oblong than circular), his chest is too long, and the top of his head is kinda squared off. Good expression, though.

...Good God, we're gonna have to explain to Morpheus about Eric, aren't we? :o

I'm sure Fox's lawyers will do all the listening.  :P    And I didn't really notice how Homer was messed up until I saw it on the computer screen. (His legs are too skinny, IMO)

Also, Maggie, age 13 has been totally redesinged to look more like a realistic tomboy.  I've shown some coworkers, and they love the way she looks now, instead of staring in shock at the my now 'old' Maggie design.

As do I!

Jake, I haven't posted in this thread because my art experience is literally zero, and all the artists are giving you so much helpful criticism there isn't anything to add. But I think it's awesome that you're doing this, and I can see a lot of improvement.

Okay, here you go (note, she's only a few inches shorter than Marge now).

Wow, I gotta say, I'm impressed.  :)

(Though, a few inches shorter than Marge at 13?  Growth spurt or anime injection?)

Sometimes I feel like dressing up my Gaia avatar.
Feels kinda pointless since I don't actually do stuff at Gaia, so I'm putting it here.

Well, that's a little too indescript to say "a few inches" (my bad), but more like if you lined up the new Maggie and Marge side by side, new Maggie's eyes would be two-eyeballs below Marge's and two eyeballs above Eric's.  The top of new Maggie's head would be at lip-level with Marge.

I like your redesign one hell of a lot more! She looks fit and happy, and her hairstyle is very nice.

And to be fair, some kids do get a growth spurt that early. My fourteen-year-old nephew is getting close to my height now.

I like this a lot. She still looks strong and chunky without the steroid-abuse effect, and her hair's nice and solid and looks far more like what would happen when she hacked off her Lisa spikes.

Yeah, big improvement on the maggie design. Especially the hair.

Is there anyone else you'll be changing appearance wise?

Eric's hair will be simplified a bit, Felecia's due for a major overhaul and I'm not sure beyond that yet.

I think you should also alter Erics overbite to look more like Marge's, after all, isn't he supposed to almost entirely take after his mother? Also, a slightly different overbite would distinguish him from Bart a little more.

As for Felecia I didn't really think her design was to bad, a little bit simple but otherwise decent. But that's just me.
