Welcome, Ben!
As for the arts you posted, they're pretty good, though a bit on the overly-muscular side, which can be visually distracting.
Good effort, though, and it's great to see new people and new art!

Thanks for the comments! Regarding the muscles, I don’t draw all the Futurama characters that way. I aim for a balance of realism with on-model accuracy. Leela is supposed to be athletic, so I draw her with muscles, but not nearly with as many muscles as an Amazonian! I give Fry 20 extra pounds and Zapp something like a plumber’s build, with a stout upper body and a large potbelly. I draw Amy skinnier than Leela.
Re: Ben Cain's Futurama Fan Art
Regarding the muscles, I see what you're aiming at and it mostly works. I feel you could perfect it by looking at losing just a couple of lines. For example, in the second picture, there's a line on her right arm that doesn't match up to any real muscle and i kind of throws the whole thing a bit skew.
That aside, you have a vety good eye for colour and some great poses. Marvelous stuff.

I hope a little tasteful nudity is alright. Pulled out the digital oils for this one.

That's a little more adult than what we normally have. I'll leave it up to the Mods as to whether to take it down or not. In the meantime, I put it under a spoiler tag.
In the future, please run any such questions about content by the Admins or Mods. We're happy to assist you.

Thanks, Terry. Didn't mean to offend anyone and I didn't know about the spoiler tag. I'll definitely ask an admin or a moderator next time before I post something questionable.

Which reminds me of a feature I was going to work on but never got around to...
Anyway! Not bad.

I could see Zapp as a plumber really easily. Oh no, wait, he's not going to bend over and show off his butt crack is he? Never mind, bad idea...Ben Cain wrote: ...Zapp something like a plumber’s build, with a stout upper body and a large potbelly.

If anyone can pilot a mecha, I believe Leela can.
Good job!

That is a very nice job, and a lot of attention was paid to the cockpit. I don't know an awful lot about mecha, but I am a huge fan of "Escaflowne." Here is my version of Leela as Hitome http://gulliver63.deviantart.com/galler ... 6#/d3jsgoj .
